Alignment then Assignment

Alignment then Assignment'

Father has many ways in which He speaks to me.  It may be in His Word, dreams or visions or just what seems as insignificant events that happen on a day to day basis.  A word here or something I see there.  Of late He has drawn my attention to a video of a chiropractor that has been alligning his patients backs, but also their necks and hips.  These joints and ligaments out of alignment caused great pain and discomfort. Often something small or an injury from way back. The moment the alignment happens there is an instant release and the joy flows.  As per the algorithms on YouTube I would find these vids over and over.  But I kept on being drawn to them and thought yesterday that Father may possibly want to talk to me about this.  This made me think of the devotional I wrote about the backbone of the Body which is the preparation of the Body and that Father started this devotional in my spirit with the words Divine Assignments. This morning when I came to sit down and spend time with Father I instantly felt the anointing upon me.  He has been dealing with me with my own alignment, so to speak, and I am earnestly seeking Him to do His complete work in me so that He can use me in whatever capacity He desires.  If you have not read the devotional on the blog called Backbone Foundations, I encourage you to read it, as it is a great encouragement and necessary understanding for His Bride.  Father gave me a word this morning, which I first and foremost apply to myself as with all other words He gives me.  I pray you hear what the Spirit is saying to the Bride in this crucial time we are in, because what happens today affects tomorrow.  This is a very busy season and it is very easy to get distracted in responsibilities and festivities, but I urge you by the Spirit of God to seek Him like never before.  He is the Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.  Today when you hear Him speak, do not harden your heart, but ask the Holy Spirit in earnestness to show where you need alignment...afterall, it is all about Him.

Word Received 20/12/20

Have I not said that I will once more shake the earth?  Even so I have indeed shaken many of you.  Tried as by fire to purify.  Chosen to be vessels of My glory.  Does it not stand to reason that those I will use I prepare?  Do not fear My children, though night is near, I am the light within.  For it is for such a time as this I have prepared you.

But many have not forsaken all and in the shaking to come, will you stand?  Those who are double-minded will not be able to stand.  Only those who trust in Me will be unshaken.  Therefore that which is still lacking, search out, that which is still out of joint set right.  For I am aligning My Body and setting things straight in this last hour.  Therefore come to Me for this Divine Alignment.  Seek Me out to set straight that which is skew.  Can an archer use arrows that are broken or skew?  Never.  But I have prepared you and made you as a sharp shaft to send you out in the time to come.  Only how I can I send you if you do not yield to My direction?  If you still disobey?  If you do not lay in submission in My hand?  If you do not allow Me to stretch you in this last hour?

My children, the world is in chaos and will become increasingly so.  But those whose minds are set on Me will not be shaken.  Have I not said this from the beginning of this year?  FOCUS!  For where your focus is, is where your aim is.  Do you have a single eye?  For unless you FOCUS on that which is My focus how am I to send you?  How can two walk together unless they agree?

This is a call to FOCUS, this is a call to turn to Me.  This is a call to prepare, this is a call unto Me.  I will gather My arrows, I will gather them in My quiver and at the appointed time I will send them out.  And when I send you out, when I release, I will not miss!  Not because of who you are, but who I AM.  A single eye is what I seek of you, wholly devoted to what I am about in you.  Divine Alignment to My arrows.  Stretched forth in preparation to go forth.  Therefore, align yourself with Me, submit yourself, humble yourself and lean on Me - Allignment and then assignment.

Psalm 127:1; 4 - 5

Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it:  except the Lordkeep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.

Hebrews 12: 12 - 14

Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way;

but let it rather be healed.

Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.

Isaiah 49:2

And He hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of His hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath He hid me.

THE WORD

The Word

As of late Father has been speaking to me about words.  It is not a new theme, but by His grace He always takes us deeper and opens up that beautiful treasure chest called The Word.  This had me thinking about the fact that Jesus is called The Word.  We have a reply to those whom we think have spoken the truth and say, “word!” Even the statement “he is a man of his word” denotes the character of a person - whether he is to be trusted or not.  Keeping your word comes to mind and in scripture we read that He has magnified His Word above all His Name (Psalm 138: 2).  In essence what is your name when you cannot keep your word?  Our reputation and how others perceive and experience us are based on the words we speak.  What we say and whether we keep our word determines how others look at us.

In John 1:1 we read that in the beginning was The Word, and The Word was with God, and The Word was God.  We know that by His Word He spoke and formed this world and everything in it.  He is called The Word, but what does that mean?  What is He when He says, “I am The Word”?  He was not the alphabet on two legs when He walked this earth.  There is an essence that we need to understand here.  Without words nothing exists.  He is the Word in the same way that He is love.  Not the author of love, but the very thing in itself.  He is the Word, not the author of the Word, but the very thing itself.  This is why in John 1 we read in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.  And as the Creator, being The Word, He came to dwell among us.  We read that His Word is Spirit and Life.  So when the Spirit of God abides in us, His Word abides in us.  Not the letter, but the Person.

Words are subject to those who speak it.  The power lies within the tongue.  However, the tongue is but only an organ.  From out of the abundance of our hearts we speak.  The heart being the well spring of this tongue, has life and death in its power.  We need to understand just how crucial it is that we align ourselves with the Word that is in us.  For unless we are the thing we speak, the doctrine we ascribe to and not deceive ourselves, we will render the Word powerless, by this wellspring of our hearts.  We will find ourselves confronted with the fact that our words keep falling to the ground, not having any effect on the hearer, simply because in reality it is our word, and not His.  In James we are asked how can bitter and sweet water come from the same fountain?

And in Ecclesiastes 5:2 we read

Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thy heart be hasty to utter anything before God: for God is in heaven and thou upon earth.  Therefore, let thy words be few.

Also in Matthew 12: 36 Jesus says that at the end every idle word we speak will be judged and that we will be judged by the Words He speaks.  The Word will judge us by His Word.

What He is seeking is those who will not give Him lip service, but those whose lives align up with His written and spoken Word.   That which is not authentic is in reality deceptive.  If I portray myself a certain way by my words, then authenticity and integrity requires me to be that in reality.  If not, I am being deceptive to others and possibly deceive myself too.  This is why we should not be rash in saying anything, for the issue is not whether it is true, but rather whether it is true in us.  The Word is living to the degree that it is alive and living in us.  Otherwise our words fall to the ground.  Yes, His Word will never return void as we read in Isaiah 55, but the issue is whether it is your word, even though it may be doctrinally true, or is it His Word, full of the life and Spirit of God.  For He is the Spirit of Truth. This is a staggering thought and a call to the fear of God, which is the beginning of wisdom.  Only then can I truly say that my words are not my own but the one who sent me.  Just as Jesus were able to speak with such authority because He was the Word not just in name, but in authenticity.  To such a life we are called to be that very thing in all our categories.  For He is the patterned Son.  Anybody can quote the word or memorize some verses, but can they be the thing they speak?  Authority is vitally linked to authenticity.  This is the reason why many of our words fall to the ground because we have not walked in obedience to that very thing we speak.  We need to ask ourselves some hard questions before we judge others or even speak His Word.  Jesus said that we are to judge righteously, and the only way to do that is that we ourselves are not guilty of that judgment.  So what we speak becomes the very judgment we speak over ourselves, as we are told that we will be judged by His Word.  Jesus said, “I AM”.  Can you say that “i am that thing I speak”?  Do you abide in the Word and the Word in you?  Not just in the knowledge of the Word, your gift of exegesis, but the Person?  Does He dwell in you as The Word and is that Word alive in you?

He said that it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles, but what comes out of the mouth – Matt. 15:11.  Are you being defiled by your own words?  A little leaven, leavens the whole lump.  That which is not true about me that I speak is that very leaven that leavens the whole lump.  Deception is conceived within the heart.

In Psalm 19: 14 David prays:

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.

Our speaking cannot be our own.  All of this shows in essence the true nature of how we value His Word.  Does His Word hold its proper place in your heart?  Please do not think that I am being poetic or trying to sound impressive, for the very words I type here is either a glory or a judgment over me.  Does the word not say the following?

James 3:1

My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

I am writing this in the fear of God.  This word “masters” is the word teachers.  How quick we are to teach others!  Where is the fear of God in our lives and why are we not falling down on our faces before Him?  Why are we not crying out to Him knowing that such a great judgment awaits us?  Why do we read these scriptures and do not stagger in fear…it can only be because our understanding is veiled.

This Word, the Spirit of God dwells in us.  We are one spirit with God.  Can two fountains flow out of one mouth?  Our understanding of the fact that He is The Word that now lives in us and wants to speak through us should overwhelm us.  He who created all, is in us wanting to use our mouth as His mouthpiece to speak.

I have only this to ask…Is my mouth in totality given up and surrendered unto Him.  Is He speaking through me or is my speaking my own?  Should I look to my idle words, my inappropriate jokes, my flippant attitude to words in general as little “boo boos” or should I consider that is has gravity, weight and vibration?  Vibration is energy.  We ourselves, just like the worlds, are made up of water and when we speak these vibrations form in us either life or death, just as it does in the spirit.  The difference is that we need to understand that sound has no end, just as He is the Eternal Word.

Does God wastes words?  Does He say anything just for the heck of it?  Did Jesus when He walked this earth waste words?  I am not saying that every word He spoke was preluded by “thus sayeth the Lord”, what I am saying is He is the Truth.  And as the Truth He said that every idle word of ours will be judged.  May we ask for great mercy in this regard!  So that when we speak the Word speaks through us, not the letter, but the Person.  This is why the Word is sharper than a two-edged sword, piercing asunder bone and marrow, dividing between soul and spirit and is a discerner of the true motives of the heart (James 4).  He desires to first expose our hearts and to divide between that which is soulish and the spirit.  That which is our own understanding, our dispositions and knowledge, that which is sensual and emotional verses that which is true, authentic, eternal, life and transcendent.  First we are to judge ourselves by His Word and I am afraid that many of us have been so long in the “game” that we no longer do this anymore.   His Word is not to be used like a magic spell because we believe in the power of it, but rather we need to acknowledge and know that even though it is written, it is also spoken…the Word is a Person, Jesus Christ.  And herein lies the crux of the matter.  When we read the letter, do we narrow it down to just the alphabet forming words, or do we understand that the moment it becomes truth in us, Christ is formed in us…not just truth, but The Truth!

We read the following in Hebrews 1:

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

Now He lives in us and is speaking to us both in the letter and the Spirit.

He is speaking to us and calling us to that authenticity that He lived by.  Who is sufficient for this we may ask.  Praise the Lord He has not only come to show us the Way, but be The Way for us by His Spirit that dwells in us.  His promise to us is that we need that no man should teach us, but that His anointing and His Spirit will teach us and guide us – 1 John 2: 27.  He also promised that He would inscribe His Word upon our hearts.  This talks about an etching into the heart.  I suspect it will be done with His Word, the two-edged sword.  But how we respond and whether His Word holds it proper place in holy reverence in our lives, will determine whether it is etched on our hearts or merely written with pencil.

May we humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God and allow Him to confront us in our deepest parts of our beings, surrendering all our categories to be judged by His Word so that we may walk in the light.  For those who walk in the light, will never stumble in the darkness.

Amen.

Hebrews 12: 5 – 11

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

My Florence Nightingale - Prophetic Word

My Florence Nightingale

The Man-child

I had a vision of what looked like a boy of about 7 - 8yrs old lying on a hospital bed (Just guessing his age by his length) However, this was no normal hospital. The boy was in a facility where they program children. Over his head was these earphones. His upper torso and arms were held tight by this thick white band and his feet were chained. There was a nurse standing by him, but I could not make any detail from out about her...

Interpretation: After the escape of the Bride of Christ, a group of harvest workers will return, endued with the power of the Holy Spirit. These harvest workers will be sent out to bring in a mighty harvest. The church as a whole is still bound and the feet of the gospel chained and will be more chained in the coming times. But He will send out His workers to heal the broken hearted, set the captives free and declare liberty. The man-child is this mighty harvest of souls that will be harvested by the harvest workers.

Word received this morning on 6th December 2020

My child, I see them bound. I see my child, that which I have bore, bound hands and feet. I see how the enemy has come and whispered deception and lies and have made him sick.

Am I not the Great Physician? Have I not come to heal the broken hearted? To set the captives free? Is it not to those who are bound that I as the Truth have come to declare liberty to? Yet truth has fallen to the streets and My child is bound.

Whom will go for Me? Whom will I send? A Body has been prepared by Me. A Body sanctified, healed and restored. Her will I send out...MY FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE. She will bring light. She will minister. She will touch and declare My liberty. She will not break, but heal. She will heal with the balm she has been healed with. Go in then My Bride to the sick, the broken and the destitute. Say to those who are fearful, do not be afraid. Behold your God will come. Say to those who are in darkness, arise shine! Heal the lame and restore their broken walls. For the Plunderer will soon come and desolation will be everywhere.

I will fill your lamp with oil and darkness will not be able to stand before the meek and lowly, My chosen ones. Those that I will send in the streets to feed the hungry. To clothe the naked and heal the sick. Prepare the broken walls.

Cry out in the streets..."Behold, the Bridegroom cometh. He is at the door!" Those who are in Me will walk in the light and will not stumble in the darkness. They will walk as I walked. Go then, arise shine for your light has come!

A brief explanation:

I believe this is a message to the harvest workers for the man-child that will be birthed...the left behind church. For the first time I realize that the birthing of the man-child is not just the rapture after the 6/7 years, but the New Church Reformation because of the great revival. That in itself is a birth. As His working Bride, we will be bringing a great harvest of children into the Kingdom of God, although they will also be seen as the guests at the wedding.

Luke 12: 35 - 43

35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning; 36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately. 37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. 38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. 40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. 41 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all? 42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season? 43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Isaiah 6:8

8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

Some facts about Florence Nightingale that I found interesting, especially if we look at it with end-time eyes. She was known as "The Lady with the Lamp". (i actually did not know that she walked around with a lamp. We are the light of the world. She is also known as the "Angel of Crimea", Crimea being a place near the Black Sea. Crimea"s meaning is Tauris - So Angel of Tauris. She started working when she was 33 years old. The name Florence means blossoming flower Nightingale bird is known for its most beautiful songs, even though it is quite a bland looking bird. (The beauty of holiness) She was the younger of two daughters (reminds me of something...Jacob - Leah/Rachel She married a William Nightingale, who inherited an estate. William means desire and protection. At the age of 16, she experienced one of several “calls from God.” She viewed her particular calling as reducing human suffering. Nursing seemed the suitable route to serve both God and humankind. She was awarded the Order of Merit a reward those who provided especially eminent service in the armed forces or particularly distinguished themselves in science, art, literature, or the promotion of culture. It has a civilian and a military division. Both men and women are admitted into the order; Florence Nightingale was the first woman awarded the honour (1907) She also received the title of "Lady of Grace' from the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. She called the arrival of injured soldiers from the Battle of Balaklava and the Battle of Inkerman as the "Kingdom of Hell".

The Making of True Prophets

THE MAKING OF A TRUE PROPHET - AUDIO

True Prophets

The prophets of Baal feasted at the table of Jezebel. It does not say whether they were actually in her service, but rather that they were feasting at her table. One could easily see in what compromising position this would place them in seeing that one does not bite the hand that feeds you. One can only imagine what such a feast looked like! Voluptuous fruit and new wine, sumptuous and beautiful to all the senses and extremely inviting. The laughter, the dance and the euphoria of friendship. Who would not want to sit at a table as this? A feast not only where you can have your fill, but a feast to lose yourself in, a binge. The kind flesh revel in.

In contrast to this we find Elijah in the wilderness in solitude eating bread and water. No one to share his food with, no one to laugh or be merry with. We see this same Spirit that resided in Elijah in John the Baptist. Alone once again in the wilderness, eating locusts and honey. Wearing clothes that would most definitely not win him any brownie points and a strangeness about him that made him not one of the boys. These strange and peculiar people, called of God, is in stark contrast to those prophets who feast at Jezebel’s table. We as children of God are exhorted in 1 Corinthians 14 to seek for the gift of prophecy. The lines of the office of the Prophet and the gift of prophecy are often blurred. We have not been properly taught the difference and therefore often throw both into the same category.

What constitute someone to become a Prophet of God? What are the dealings of God with such a one to become His ears, eyes and mouth? How much of his life is spent in preparation to walk in integrity as the oracle of God. And when he speaks, how does one know whether that which is said is truly of God? Does it not stand to reason that just as many will be deceived by a false Christ, will also be deceived by the false prophets? Could it be that the two seem very similar? The Anti-Christ will do great miracles. He will heal people and probably also call fire down. Even if possible, the elite will be deceived the Word says. We know that he will speak great things against our Lord and Savior, but it is guaranteed that he will not do it in the beginning. No, just like the false prophets of our day, he might sound doctrinally correct and very spiritual. He might even know the Word as well as the back of his hand. How are we to know between the truth and the lie when the lie sounds and looks like the truth? I am not talking about outright deception that often tickles the ear. I am talking about the lie coated in truth. Is that not what the snake in the garden did? He is a master at deceiving. The contrast between the Prophets of Baal and Elijah’s has not changed. They may even look the same in appearance, but their preparation and disposition is vastly different.

The true prophets of old were persecuted and stoned. Isaiah was sawn in half and so also the other suffered terrible deaths. Our Prophet and King often found himself in solitude with His Father going out into the wilderness to receive His food for the day. Jesus only started His ministry at 30 years of age. We are not told what the preparation was that He had to go through, but what we do know is that when He came on the scene, he went to John the Baptist. Like John the Baptist and Elijah, and so many others before Him, He was misunderstood, rejected and persecuted. The true prophet stands alone before the Lord. He answers to only One. Not in exclusivity, but in submission and humility. For unless there is an identification with the lost and even the sin, there can be no intercession or authenticity. In this solitude he receives his bread and water. Not the written bread, but the living bread. This bread broken and torn, and in his heart echoes the living words of his Lord, “One shall not live from bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God", said Jesus. The prophet lives from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. There in this solitude, the still small voice of God is his life and nourishment. He knows Him because he feasted with Him. So that when he is told to leave the cave of solitude, he speaks with identification and authenticity with the One who gave him the authority so that he can say “thus sayeth the Lord.” Who is sufficient for these things?

At the Lord’s Table He feeds you what you need. At this table the true prophet's eyes are not only open to the state of the people of God, but like Isaiah he falls down and cries, Isaiah 6:5 5 Then said I, Woe is me! For I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Hosts. There he finds himself face to face with God, naked and exposed to the truth of his own unclean lips. There he sees as God sees and he is undone. Because he realizes first and foremost that he is but a man.

Compare this to the many voices one would hear at Jezebel’s table. Will you be able to hear His still small voice in the midst of the many other voices? Do not be fooled to think that at her table will we only find the worldly and sensual. No, as the master of deception, she will feed you the spiritual. You may even experience a thrill or a sensing of the ‘Holy Spirit” move upon you or strangely your surroundings and circumstances confirms the words spoken. Many has been slain at the hands of this horrible wicked woman, the very one who rides the beast in the time we find ourselves in. Is it any wonder that as she is the one who slays the prophets in history will once again rise up to slay the prophets of God again in this time? She knows very well who they are. They are not usually on the stage, or have a wide audience. But they are often in the background, until God releases them. And when the Word comes, it is like a fire and a hammer, and it overthrows her altars. The attack will be severe and with great viciousness. Where everyone else is cheering the latest prophecy, he will strangely stand back and wait on God and when it is required of him to speak up, against the grain of what everyone else believe, he will do it. Not in arrogance or in seeking disunity, but it will be a cry out of the depths of his being, seeing the thing as it truly is. He will be like a thorn and will be poking all in the eye. He will be as Elijah when Ahab confronted him and said, “Are you the one who troubles Israel?” Are you the one that upsets the applecart and our unity? Are you the one that judges us? And they will find ample reason to judge him, because often the prophet is one that strangely do not have it all together. His marriage is in shambles or his children are in rebellion. Something God would orchestrate to keep this man on his knees, not only in dependence on him, but to constantly humble him.

But who will recognize such a one as a true prophet? He fears God and not man. And even as he speaks, he will feel utterly alone and bereft. Like Elijah after his conflict with Jezebel, he will run to his cave, only to be fed again by the One whom he loves and fears. The message in him will ALWAYS cost him in the same way that Elijah said that there would be no rain, and had to endure the drought with them. It will be a constant dying over and over, not the elevated state we see of the many prophets of today. The truth is he is not even guaranteed that God would answer every time with fire, for the prophet is himself subject to God’s sovereignty and God is not obligated to explain it to him.

Remnant prophets are forged not at the table of feasting, but at the table of leniency. There where dependency and utter surrender is forged into his very being. Are you willing to be dealt with, even in solitude? Do not think this solitude has an expiry date on earth. It does not. There is often no pleasure found in the words he has to speak, for the true word of God is a fire and a hammer. A sword that pierces right into the marrow of the bone and divides the soul from spirit. It exposes and lay bare the intents and motives of the heart and leaves the hearers fuming with rage. For those who have ears to hear, it is as the healing balm of Gilead. Jesus cautioned us to judge righteously. Who can truly judge righteously unless you allow the Eternal judge to judge you first? David prayed, “Lord, judge me.” I leave you with the words spoken about Jesus and the Spirit that rested upon Him, that I believe rests upon the true prophets of God.

Isaiah 11: 1 - 5

1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.

Jeremiah 23: 17-18

17They say still unto them that despise me, The Lord hath said, ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walks after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.

18 For who hath stood in the counsel of the Lord, and hath perceived and heard his word? Who hath marked his word, and heard it?

John 5: 30 – 44

30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

32 There is another that bears witness of me; and I know that the witness which he witness of me is true.

33 Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.

34 But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that ye might be saved.

35 He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a season to rejoice in his light.

36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.

37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

41 I receive not honour from men. 42 But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.

43 I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.

44 How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only?

I have to laugh at the way Father often give me clues to a message. This morning I was wondering why He gives me clues instead of just outright making it clear. This made me think that He enjoys me finding the “eureka” moment just as much as I do. There is a sweet satisfaction in that moment as the Holy Spirit leads me and a knowing that He alone gets all the glory. Such was this moment when He showed me the words OLIVE NIKKI PAGE the other day in a vision. What? It looked like someone’s first and second name, with the third being the surname. Well, I had no idea what it meant, but it kept bugging me since then…not knowing what it meant.

Obviously I went into the meaning of the names, but still felt that I did not quite know what it was specifically He was saying. I was not happy with my own understanding and have been waiting on Him. The meaning of Olive is from an olive tree, which brought the connection with oil. Nikki comes from Nike, which means victory and Page means servant or helper. This made me think of the Menorah lamps and the 9th candle is called the helper. In Greek mythology it is called the Shamash and has it connection with the occult, linked to Sun-worship and Ishtar. However, this was not where Father wanted me to focus on. His focus was on the whole of the Menorah, including the Helper Candle.

This morning as I was praying for His children, especially knowing that today is V-day where it is a turn in the spirit, knowing we will start to see persecution going up a notch because of the Christian’s decline of the vaccine, He started to give me a Word for His Remnant Bride. Afterwards I decided to do a bit of research and will add it to this post with regarding to what He said. You will notice that all three meanings of the words OLIVE, NIKKI PAGE is in the Word. I pray you will heed what the Spirit is saying to His Bride.

Word received 14/12/20

Abundant Oil

My children, in the darkest times the light shines the brightest. Have I not said that you will grow brighter as unto the noonday? For it is such a time as this where I will enlighten your candle. Where I will cause you to burn with My zeal and bring light to those who sit in darkness. Do not fear. Have I not said that darkness cannot overwhelm light? Darkness flees in the sight of light. For I AM the light of the world. My Spirit in you burning with My zeal, not only for My children, but for those who still sit bound in darkness. For I will send you out to the houses, I will send you out to the marketplaces to shine in every corner, to shine on the hill tops. For though the enemy thinks that he has overcome, you are more than overcomers by My strength in you. It is such a time as this that you are to wait on Me to lighten your candle. For I have given you My Spirit…therefore, fan the flame that once burned so brightly. For as I lighten you, you will not stumble in the darkness to come, for you will walk in My light. I will lighten your understanding and you will see. Where others walk in darkness, My Word will be the lamp unto your feet and the light unto your path.

Have I not said that I will not leave you orphaned? That I will come again? Therefore, occupy while it is still day, for night is at the door. The harvest is plenty, but the laborers few. But even as I used five loaves of bread and two fishes to feed thousands, so I will again use My Remnant to shine brightly in the darkness, to bring many into My barn.

Do not fear My children. Walk by faith for unbelief will cause you to stumble in all your ways if you are doubleminded. Look unto Me. I have given you all that is needed. You have to seek Me afresh. You have to trim your lamps and be filled with oil. I will pour the oil of My Spirit into those who have prepared their lamps. I will pour it into you abundantly at this 8th hour. For My oil will not only flow from your lamps, but unto the whole of My Body as you walk in unity, in your Priestly function as the sent out ones. Sent out to be the light of the world. As My Father have sent Me, so I send you. Now is the time to shine. Now is the time to seek Me afresh, to seek and buy this costly oil with your life. Those who seek Me will find Me. Those who put on their Priestly garments and have prepared the sanctuary of their hearts, will be filled with My glory. With fatness I will satisfy them and they will never run dry. Amen.

Please see below a short explanation on how and why we need to trim our lamps.

How can we trim our lamps?

In the ancient Temple era the Aaron priests were in charge of lighting the lamps of God and keeping it burning. Their main responsibilities included trimming the wicks, refilling the lamps constantly with fresh oil, and making sure it never burned out. A clear parallel can be drawn between the Aaronic Priesthood and the New Covenant Priesthood of Melchizedek and Yeshua. Both are responsible to keep the lamps burning. We are now also priests and are responsible to trim our lamps, our candles as well.

A closely trimmed wick becomes dim. A wick too long will burn high, wasting fuel. A properly trimmed wick will have a hedged shaped flame that will burn even and bright. Without the lamp trimmer, there is no light. Even so, it is important that you know the state of your lamp. The trimming made me think of John 15 where the Father as the Vinedresser comes to trim the tree. We are wild olives grafted into the natural olive tree, and even though John 15 refers to the vine, we can know that the more we are trimmed, that which is not of Him is cut away, the greater fruit we will produce. In this case, greater olives. Greater olives means more oil. But all olives had to be pressed to produce this oil. They have to be crushed. Those who have been crushed by this life under the hand of God, will soon pour forth the oil their lives have produced. Those who have not allowed the Spirit to trim them, will produce little fruit, and also little oil. Now is the time that we allow Him to trim all away, no matter the cost so that we may have enough oil in the time to come. To seek His face to show us what still needs to be cut away.

Not trimming a lamp can cause your flame to become dim as well. We can trim our lamps in different ways. We can fast and wait on Him to fill us afresh. We can spend time in the Word and less in the different forms of technology. We can seek out that much needed rest in order to require strength and perspective again. It is important that we will each individually hear from Father in what way He would want us to trim our lamp. Now is the time to do it so that in the time when you need to shine, you will not be worn out or be overcome yourself. Now is the time to seek His face.

I posted a word about MY FLORENCE NIGHTINGALE a week or so ago. She was known as the “lady with the lamp”. He said that soon He will send out His lady with the lamp. This word links to that word where we need to understand that whatever He has done and allowed in our lives thus far is the preparation for the time we are in. But all your knowledge and understanding will mean nothing if it is not drenched in the oil of the Spirit. For we are called to walk by faith, not by our understanding. He is not going to overwhelm us with His Spirit because we serve Him, but rather because we seek Him. The disciples had to wait in the upper room, praying and crying out to the Lord for the promise of His Spirit. Even so we are to wait and cry out to Him for that very promise.

The Eighth Hour

The Eighth Hour

My friends can tell you that the number 8 has been very significant in my life. It is one of those numbers that has so many meanings and even though I was never a “number girl”, this number just showed up way too many times in my life for me to ignore it.

Some of the meanings of this number are:

It is a sign of God’s Covenant as we remember that God made a covenant with Himself, walking in a figure 8 through the sacrifice Abraham made, whilst Abraham was sleeping.

Circumcision for all boys has to happen on the eighth day and it is seen as a sign of the covenant.

This is also why Joshua had the next generation of the wilderness circumcised as they were neglecting this commandment during that period. This was needed as they were about to go into battle in Canaan. They needed to stand in covenant with Him for the battle to come.

In Biblewheel we read that the transcendence associated with the Number Eight - recognized by both Jews and Christians - ultimately manifests in the everlasting New Beginning found in the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Biblewheel 8)

Romans 8: 28

For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Circumcision is not just about the cutting off of the flesh, but what the act in itself means. Yes, the obvious meaning is that of dying to self and allowing the Lord to circumcise our hearts. But, the purpose of the circumcision is covenant. In covenant both parties cut their hands in order for blood to flow. They then shake hands and the blood is mixed typifying my life is yours, and yours are mine. What I have is yours, my enemies are yours, my strength and resources. All that I have is yours and visa versa. Such is the essence of the covenant God has made with us. The difference is that His Son was the sacrifice on this altar and we get His life in exchange for ours. It was made during the 8th hour which is between 3:00 – 6:00pm. And because we stand in covenant with Him through the sacrifice He has made, we may enjoy the benefit of that sacrifice, which is Resurrection Life. Interesting enough in Romans 8 we read that heaven and earth is awaiting the manifestations of the sons of God, and it specifically discusses the flesh being removed.

Romans 8: 22 - 23 22

For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

When you read Romans 8 it starts with the fact that there are no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who no longer walk after the dictates of the flesh, but are controlled by the Spirit. The beginning (number 8 means new beginning) of the chapter is actually about a lifestyle where the foreskin of our hearts have been cut off and the Child of God is no longer walking after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Which is Resurrection Life now. But the second half of this chapter is also about the redemption of our bodies. Where the first circumcision is of the heart, the next part is of the Body. We will receive our glorified bodies. So in Christ we can now enjoy Resurrection Life, but there is about to be Resurrection of our bodies.

This also the reason we have to understand that we are about to go into an eighth day of a 7 year cycle, where the tribulation is very soon to start. Taking into consideration what I have just explained about the number 8, one can see why the Lord places a high value on this number and have chosen the 8th day to signify the redemption of our bodies. Very exciting to say the least. There is a lot more one can say regarding the number 8, but the reason I am actually writing about this number is because in my previous post, the Lord gave me a word in which He said that He is about to pour out abundantly His oil into those who trim their lamps in this eighth hour.

At the time I thought that odd, not knowing what He meant by the 8th hour. So last night I woke up at 2:03 and decided to look up the number in the Strong’s Concordance.

H203 akrobystía – properly, uncircumcised; (figuratively) a person outside of God's covenant, i.e. who does not belong to the Seed (Christ, the Messiah).

This was all before I even had any intention of writing about the number 8. Then I went to sleep again, but this time Father dropped into my spirit the following words. “Watch, in the hour they least expect it, I come.” The part that immediately perked my interest was watch and hour. The “they” are basically those who are not even looking, the sleeping Church, just as Jesus said in Luke 21:36 –

Watch and pray that you may be accounted worthy to escape ALL these things that is about to come upon this world.

This then reminded me about the word He gave me about the 8th hour on my previous post and I realized that He wanted me to look up the meaning of the 8th hour. The 8th hour is also referred to as the 8th Watch. There are all together eight watches for intercessors. Which means it is the final watch. The eighth watch is during the time of 3:00 – 6:00pm, which was the same time the covenant Father made with us by sacrificing His Son. It is the time of the covenant. So it makes perfect sense why He would choose this hour to pour out His Spirit, His oil upon those who have trimmed their lamps. (Please read my post Abundant Oil) The trimming of our lamps is that circumcision which is a sign of our covenant with Him. Those who stand in covenant with Him will reap the benefits of the covenant, but this can only be if both parties fulfill the requirements. The reason why He made the covenant with Himself is that we need to understand that without Him, we cannot circumcise our own hearts. Even that He has to do for us, but unless we come to Him and allow Him to do just that, how can we have part of the benefits, which is Resurrection Life?

The 8th hour is the covenant hour. I believe He is saying we are at the 8th hour. The hour of the infilling is soon approaching and those who stand in covenant will be filled with the abundant oil of the Spirit.

We know that our Lord went to the Mount of Olives that night He was arrested. There He cried out to His Father to let this cup pass by Him, but also for not His will but Father’s will to be done. We read in Isaiah 53 that it pleased the Lord to smite and make Him sick. It pleased Him not because He is vindictive, but because this was the fulfillment of the covenant He made those many years ago when He walked in a figure of 8 around an animal sacrifice, whilst Abraham was sleeping. Abraham sleeping was a type and shadow of faith, which is the rest of God we read in Hebrews 4. Faith to trust the Lord to do in us what we cannot do ourselves…we have to rest in Him. We have to walk by faith. It pleased Him to keep His word and to fulfill this covenant, knowing that He would through this offering bring many sons to glory. Have you been to your own Mount of Olives? Not just once saying Lord “I want in on this deal.” But to the extent that you laid your life down there? I have often said, the first drop of blood fell in the garden from His forehead. From that hour, He was a dead man walking. How many times have you left your Mount of Olives, but still the same? Have you allowed Him to crush you so that out of you may flow the oil that signifies I life laid down? Have you endured in that Garden what is necessary for Him to do in you, which is to cut covenant with you that you too may bleed? For life is in the blood. From out of Him came blood, but out of us will come oil, empowering us to become the light of the world.

We read in Hebrews 12: 3 - 4 the following:

3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds. 4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

In this chapter it is talking not just about the sacrifice Jesus made, but the fact that He resisted sin to the point of blood. Does that mean we are to bleed physically? No. He did that for us. But the fight is real and unless we are willing to lay all on the altar, how are we then keeping our end of the covenant? Are we then not breaking the covenant? Once again, we cannot keep the covenant in our own strength. And the issue is not perfection. The issue is willingness. What have you not given up yet, but know you have to? What have you not with all your might fought in the spirit with the absolute dependence on the Holy Spirit, but only brushed off with “please forgive me Lord”? God is not mocked. That which is sown in the flesh will reap corruption, but that which is sown in the Spirit, everlasting life. Why do we think we do not need to keep our side of the covenant as if He did not provide the means to circumcise our hearts in order to keep it? Circumcision is the sign of the covenant and not only is the 8th day upon us, but the 8th hour! It is time that we seek Him with earnestness.

There is a reason why He wanted me to understand the significance of the hour. He is warning His people to see how late it is in the day. May we earnestly seek Him and make time to enter into the garden often that He may do what is necessary in our hearts, which is to cut off the flesh. He says in Hebrews while it is still today, harden not your hearts.  The word hour in the Bible is a reference to a moment or a look. This both makes me think of anytime and also the eyes, with which we look. We are told in a twinkling of the eye…which is only but a moment, He will come to get His Bride. An hour was also considered as the 12th part of the day, which was from sunrise to sunset. Jesus said in John the following:

John 11:9

9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

Understand that when He says this is the 8th hour, He is in fact saying this is the 12th hour (the moment). In the Word He gave me (Abundant Oil), He said: “Therefore, occupy while it is still day, for night is at the door.” He is saying it is the 12th hour (the 8th hour). I pray you hear what the Spirit is saying to His children and seek Him in this 8th hour. Amen.

John 8: 1 - 11

Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. 2 And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. 3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, 4 They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. 5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? 6 This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. 7 So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. 8 And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. 9 And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Backbone Foundations

Backbone Foundations

The Holy Spirit dropped a thought into my spirit yesterday whilst praying…HEAVENLY ASSIGNMENTS. At once I knew that He is about to reveal these heavenly assignments to His Remnant Bride soon. And whilst praying about this, He told me to write. Every now and then He will say to me just one word. “Write”. I sense an urgency or an imperative to that word “write” and I know that what I am to write will be under the inspiration of His Spirit.

In Romans 8: 28 - 30 we read the following:

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

The first verse makes it very clear. We are called according to His purposes. He goes on to say to us that He foreknew us, just like He told Jeremiah, before you were born, I knew you and called you. Then we read that we are predestinated to be conformed to the image of the Son. That is, we are called to be like Him. And because we are predestinated to be like Him, we are called. In other words, it has been His will to conform us to the image of His Son for the purpose of this calling. This all starts with justification, which is the outworking of the cross and the price that He paid for our sins, therefore we are justified. It ends with the beautiful words that he has glorified us. Wait a minute…glorified? As in past tense? We are all awaiting this glorification of our bodies, but here it says in verse 30 we ARE glorified!

Glorified in the Strong’s Concordance is exactly that…glory. Or honor or magnify. So, even though we understand that this is also the glorification of our bodies, I see that it is not just that, but this glorification that has happened already is that we are now brethren…we are the sons and daughters of God! Have you ever really just sat down and pondered that title? I believe that Adam and Eve had glorified bodies when they were in Eden, but once sin entered in, death entered in and the glory departed. He predestined them to be the image of His Son, called to fulfill His purposes, being glorified. Once they sinned they were naked and for the first time, because of the shame of sin, they could clearly see their state when glory departs…naked. But we have been clothed with Christ. We are in Christ and He is in us. We are glorified by Him, through Him and unto His purposes. But this glorification is not the end in itself. The glorification is for His purposes which He predestined us for. Our salvation is not the end, just as our sanctification is not the end nor our glorification, but the end is what He has ordained for us.

We read in Ephesians 2:10

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

One of the principals the Church lacks is an eternal perspective. We are too earthbound in our thinking, even though we desperately want to go home. And unless we see things from an eternal perspective we are bound to limit our perspective on what we are about. We see with eyes only dimly and do not have that glorified perspective and dispositions of sons and daughters of God. We see the happenings of our lives as temporal and something we cannot wait to leave behind. But eternity has no end and no beginning. What we are about is eternal. Your whole Christian experience is the process of preparation. We are His workmanship. And in preparing us for this assignment, He has predestined us each individually to work as a Body together. We think fivefold ministry and all the different gifts of the Spirit and knowing it is for the equipping of the saints, see it is only for being here on earth. But in reality it is for eternity. I do not claim to know exactly how all of this will fit together one day, but what I do know is that as the Word says, not all is Prophets or Evangelists etc. But unto all of us gifts have been given, so that collectively we form the Body of Christ, each one a living member of the corporate Body of Christ.

In this preparation as the glorified Corporate Body of Christ, we are being prepared for far greater eternal purposes, because our God is eternal. Some have gone through tremendous trials in their lives. They have been exposed to warfare scenarios others could not even begin to imagine. They have been trained in discernment, in endurance under extreme attacks from the enemy, gaining wisdom and understanding in spiritual warfare. They have learned not to fear. This is not all they do, but this is prominent in their Christian walk and they are known as such…warriors.

Others have been trained in the school of life with regard to abuse, emotional and physical trauma. They understand the hold fear has on the psyche and have been healed and overcome. They are like a healing river through the dry deserts of this world. They have a firm grasp on just how the enemy uses different circumstances to steal, destroy and kill the children of God. Their words are like healing balm and they are given a spirit of wisdom and compassion to the brokenhearted.

Others have been trained to be intercessors of note. Praying for hours on their knees, knowing what it is to pray through something. They have learned how to travail and carry the burden of the Lord to the throne of grace and stay there until He answers. They have grown sensitive to the guidance of the Spirit and are instant in prayerThey stand at the gates and on the walls and see both what happens inside and outside. They see with spiritual eyes both the spiritual and the Church in her true state. They are the burden bearers of the Kingdom of God. Others have been trained to provide. They see a need and have learned what poverty is both in the natural and the spiritual. They have learned where and how to find provision and nothing can stop them to bring food baskets and living water, both physically and spiritually to those in need.

Others are mothers and fathers not just for their own children, but in the spirit. Having a high sense of protection over the Body and those in need, loving the weary. They are the ones who love the unlovable, the deserted and throw aways. They recognize the hunger in their eyes for love and He has poured His love into their hearts. They see the small and insignificant and place high value on a child, to love, teach and just be with them. They treasure children, they have the heart of the Father.

Others have been trained to be encouragers. They are the motivators, knowing the scriptures and the cheerleaders of this race to the weary and despondent. They lift up the heads of the hopeless. Comforters that are encouraging and strengthening the weak. Always ready with a scripture or a gift or picture that undergirds the truth that another’s pain is seen and prayed for. That in Christ there is always hope. They bring sunshine and are always full of joy. They are the hope bearers.

Others have been looking after the sick, the elderly and forgotten ones of society. God has asked them to care for those He treasures so much, those others have forgotten. Those who have lived their lives, but somehow seen as insignificant and irrelevant by society, just because they are old, or have a disorder, or paraplegic. Those in prisons and those in mental institutions…the forgotten ones. Knowing what it feels like to have to endure endless abuse and traumatic experiences that most people are unable to bear. But they humble themselves to be light in a very dark place. They are light bearers in utter darkness.

Others have been trained in the Word. They are skilled in using the Sword of the Spirit, having been shaped and circumcised by the truth of the Word and having applied it authentically to their own lives. They are skilled in teaching and breaking the bread of life open to the hungry and they feed His sheep. And so I can go on and on.

Gifts, gifts, gifts! These He has given us and these gifts have grown in maturity as we use them. Some may have only started this journey, others are skilled. But know this, as I have said before, that life is your training. It is your foundation for everything you will do for His Kingdom. It is your sanctification unto holiness. Sanctification is to be set apart. Not just to Him, but for Him for a specific purpose.

Romans 11:36

36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory forever. Amen.

You are being sanctified for the purpose to which He will use you in the time to come. Whatever supernatural gifts and abilities we receive hereafter, will built on top of this foundation. It will be the backbone of the Body. The backbone carries with it all the nerves (the Holy Spirit) that stems from the brain (Jesus Christ our Head), sending messages to the rest of the body. During this sanctification preparation you learn to become sensitive to the messages that the Head has been giving you. He has trained you already for what is to come. Whatever is lacking, He will complete, because he finishes what He starts.

I believe He is about to make heavenly assignments clear to His children. Puzzle pieces is about to fall into place as we wait upon Him. I believe He will start to open our eyes to see how He has divinely placed certain things in our lives, to prepare us for the time to come. Apart from the supernatural abilities we will receive. It will not just be about power and warfare. It will also be about the heart of God for the lost and those who are in despair. The heart of the Body is the center, the nexus, the driving force behind everything. And what He has thus formed in you is His heart. There are many things we have already gone through that at times may have seemed senseless to us, but our God works all things together for good for those who are called by Him for His purposes. Therefore the importance of occupying, for our occupying is our training. It is not just about telling people about Jesus and the salvation He has provided, but it is also about us being His workmanship. It is the building of our spiritual foundation, the strengthening of our backbone. Do not stop! Keep on doing the work He has given you to do. Do not look upon it as trivial or a waste of time. Rather, have an eternal perspective. The puzzle pieces is soon to slot in and those who have been diligent in the small will receive their due promotion. Those who have not despised the menial will see what He has prepared for them all along.

1 Corinthians 2:9

9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Therefore, gird up your loins. To gird up your loins is to tell someone to get ready for hard work or battle. It was the ancient way of saying “man up!” Look straight on and do every day in humble obedience what He asks you to do. Nothing is insignificant…nothing! Every conversation, everything you see or hear, all form a part of the big eternal picture. He has given you small puzzle pieces through this life thus far. The picture is complete. Not in what you have done, but in Time. Your picture does not look finished, because this earth is bound to time. But our God says before you were born I knew you and called you. All the days of your life is written in My book. He is the Beginning and the End. The puzzle picture was finished even before you began. And it is beautiful! It is about to be revealed. Do not worry about what you have not finished. What is important is that you stay the course. “Now” has eternal consequences and value. We are about an eternal Kingdom. Be diligent, be faithful, be obedient and love Him with all your heart. He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him in faith. Who you will be in heaven will be the substance of who you are now in your personality, your way of thinking and spiritual maturity. It will be the foundation upon which everything else will be built, because what you are about now, is the foundation He has built in you. This life forms the foundation of what is to come. Your life has eternal significance. Every person you encourage, care for, pray for, minister to. Every time you humble yourself, walk in obedience and authenticity and lay your life down for Him. Every single work is recorded in His books. Everything you gave to another, said to another, served and gave your time. All will be part of your eternal existence. Heaven, however glorious, will be a continuation of the life you lived here. Not in the natural or earthly, but foundational. He is the Master Builder of your life.

1 Peter 2:5

5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

Your life does not end here and then you get another up there. Your surroundings will change, but you will still be you, just with a glorified body. And because He is a just Rewarder and will judge everyone’s works whether good or bad (2 Corinthians 5: 10), it stands to reason that authority will be given according to how you have lived your life here. We will receive crowns. And crowns speaks of authority and honor. And we will lay it at His feet. With great responsibility comes great authority, but one is only given great responsibility when you have proven yourself trustworthy. The spirit world works in the same way as the natural where there is a chain of command and hierarchy. It is governed by rank, which is authority. It is not about who can get to the top or who can do the greatest exploits. It is not about how high you fly, but how low you walk. Your disposition of heart in every situation. He will lift those up who are humble of heart. All in the spiritual has degrees, even humility. And He who searches the hearts of man, sees all.

Knowing that He is soon to reveal to us our heavenly assignments for the time to come and knowing that what we are about now is eternal, we should indeed gird up our loins, pressing in deeper and more earnestly to do His will. We are to make it our business to know His perfect will in every situation and to live circumspectly. Not just because our works will be judged, but because it forms the backbone, the foundation of our lives to come.

Ephesians 1: 9 - 23

9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10 That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: 11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: 12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise, 14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. 15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all.
