CRY OUT!

(Please note that this word was unedited.  I spoke from my heart, that which He burdened me with.)

I have woken up this morning disheartened realizing that so many words of prophecy go out and that we as a people of God has heard so many prophecies.  And so many of them have not come true and we have lost utter respect for prophets whether they are true or false. The point is that in general the connectation to prophets in these days is that of, "Well, let the chips fall where they may and we will see."
The fear of God is no longer a crucial element in listening to the prophetic word.  Rather it is kind of like opening a fridge and deciding which meal would you like, because there is just so much to choose from.  And so we become overfed with prophecies and we become used to them and the Word of God, the spoken word of God and the written Word of God, falls to the ground and it dies there. And it is interesting, as per usual, Father always talks to me in my day to day life.  I was having a discussion with my daughter yesterday about how Father looks at how we look upon and treat authority in general.  And how we treat those who are in authority over us, whether it be your boss, whether it be your husband, father or mother.  How we treat them is an indication of how we treat Him.  And sometimes it is an indication, often it is in stark contrast to Him, because it disqualifies us before Him.  Because He says, how can you say you hate your brother that you can see, and at the same time say that you love Me whom you cannot see?  He also says that, "You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and strength.  And the second commandment is as the first.  You must love your neighbor as yourself."  What He is saying is that the two goes hand in hand.

Now what I want to do, is to bring the two, the written word and the spoken word of God, parallel next to each other and our attitude in general, with regard to the written word of God and the spoken word of God.  I realized that when I spoke to my daughter yesterday about authority, I explained to her the importance of listening.  That in the small things that she was disobeying me with regard to her routines, her little chores that she has to do, the fact the we as parents often have to tell our children over and over the same thing to do, which is so easy for us to see as just a teenaged thing or a child thing.  It is interesting that her neck was sore yesterday.  This reminded me this morning when I thought about the word that I gave yesterday about the sackloth, it reminded me of Israel, that God said they are stiffnecked, which means they hardened their will.

I have realized that there are many people out there that harden their will, they harden their neck, they refuse to submit and humble themselves to either the written word of God or the spoken word of God.  Because as many as there are different prophecies, in the same way there are so many different teachings.  And we have become fat and obese in the spirit.  And it is an assembly line.  We get to choose who we want to listen to, how we want to listen and if we want to listen.  We take our word from the Lord, whether written or spoken and we decide whether we like staik, or veggies or potatoe chips and whatever it may be. And that which we are not particularly interested in, we just push to the side.  Well, it just does not work that way.  It just does not work that way that we get to choose what we will receive from God.

When I spoke to Father this morning about it, we know that the Word says that in the last days people will only listen to that which tickles their ears. That which affirms them, that which is exciting, even if it is bad news, that which builds them up.  But to be reprimanded, to be told that your obedience will cost you something, well, they have the attitude of, "We will see, that is not necessarily what God is telling me." There is just a general lack of the fear of God.  So when I spoke to Father about this, this morning, being dispondent, realizing that the words that He gives me, I cannot take responsibility for how other people listen to it.  I can only take responsibility for how I listen to it.  Whether I am obedient, whether my neck is stiff or not.  Whether I look flippantly at a word given, whether by me or somebody else.
Even His written Word.  I can only take responsibility for me.  I had to repent before Him this morning saying, " Father, I don't think that I can on both my hands count, because I do not have enough fingers, how many times I have listened to a word spoken by a prophet, somebody I consider as truly prophetic in character, not just in words, but in character, not just giving out words, but a person living the truth, living the message, who is the message.  I cannot count how many times I have listened to it, acknowleged it and thought it was good, realized it was for me and just moved on to the next message.  I cannot remember how many times I just simply did not wait on You and obey."

And so this morning I feel compelled to leave this message to say that in this day and age that we find ourselves in, it is incumbent on us to search out the true words of God and to wait on Him and to ask Him to sift us. To ask Him to show us our hearts.  To ask Him what is required of us and to humble ourselves and do His will.  Because we will be held accountable for every idle work we speak.  But not only that, we will be held accountable for every word He spoke.  Because He says in His Word that it is not He that came to judge us, but the very words that He speaks will one day judge us.
So this is a warning that I am putting out there, a warning to the Bride.  To take note, to consider, not only what she speaks but what is spoken as well and to see if she has lost the fear of God and walks in arrogance, in pride over the word of God.  Because we will be held accountable and we lack the fear of God, we surely do need to seek His face afresh for the Fear of God.  For our God will not be mocked.  He deserves all the honor, He deserves all the glory, He deserves all the praise.  He deserves it because He is God.  Without even having died for us He already deserved it.  Because He is Almighty, Omniscient, Omnipresent.  He is God and we treat Him like a man.  We treat Him as a mere man.  I think our arrogance is a stench in His nostrils.  My arrogance towards His spoken Word and His written Word is a stench to my nostrils.  And today I repent.  Today I repent of how I treat His Word.  Because His Word is life.  His Word carries His essence.  His Word is almighty.  It is exalted above His Name.  His Word will one day judge us and yet we go flippantly with it.  Because we open ourselves up to every single person's "prophetic word".  We do not fear and tremble at His Word anymore.  And He says in His Word He is seeking those who will fear and tremble at His Word.

I for one want to do that, especially because He uses me to speak.  I pray that you will not hear me speak, but that you will hear the heart of God.  Because the Word says that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of God.  And if the righteous are barely saved, how much less the wicked.  The righteous are barely saved.

May God forgive us and may He work in our hearts to such an extent that we will turn back to the fear of God.  Because the Word says that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. The fear of God is understanding.  And in all your getting, get understanding.  We need to know that God is not playing with us, we commercialized His Word, we have made money out of His Word, we have travilized His Word, we have trampled on His Word like swine.  In our own personal lives, who of us can truly say, "Lord every time a prophetic word has gone out, or everytime I have listened to Your Word, I humbled myself and I obeyed.  I did what You asked of me."  How many of us can truly say that?  Do we not have reason to put on sackloth.  To cry out for mercy!  This is the Word Father has given me.  I had a hawk crying out endlessly yesterday, and I knew Father was saying something to me.  And I did not know what it was.  Then we had a mouse that were drowning in our pool.  I thought of the connection because hawks eat mice and when I looked up the meaning of it, the meaning was CRY OUT.   For both a hawk, but also a particular mouse in the Word means to CRY OUT.  And God is saying to me, "Cry out! Cry out to My people. Cry out that I will hold them accountable for the words that I speak."  I pray that you will hear what the Spirit of God is crying out to you personally and that you will no longer be stiffnecked, but that you will humble yourself as I am going to do first and foremost as He speaks to my heart.

Please Read:

Jeremiah 7: 21 - 28

21 Thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh.

22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.

24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them:

26 Yet they hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

27 Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee.

28 But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the Lord their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

PUT ON SACKLOTH

I was in my prayer closet crying and humbling myself in His presence.  Just simply laying it all down again, desiring that He would just deal with me in whatever way He desires.  As I was sitting still in His presence, I heard the number 47 in my spirit.  Instantly I knew it was Isaiah 47. I could not remember what was written there.  I read it and knew that it was a message for the USA.  After reading the chapter the Lord gave me a word, but I knew that I had to wait on Him to "flesh" it out for me and give me context apart from the obvious.

Father impressed Esther upon my heart, because the spiritual climate we find ourselves in, is increasingly becoming more and more similar to the time of Purim where Esther had to seek the King for grace.  Truly this is a time to enter His throneroom like Esther did with boldness where we are to find mercy and grace in a time of need.  For ourselves and for those who are not right with Him.  Why do I say this?  Maybe some are aware of this, others may not be, but there has been numerous articles out since the Obama presidency of thousands of guilotines ordered and delivered  Not only that, but FEMA camps have been built for various reasons we are told.  I myself have had a dream where I was in a concetration camp.  These things are no longer speculations.  These things are no longer "conspiracy theories".  They are facts and truth in plain sight.  The real question is, "Do we have our ear next to His mouth to hear what is required for us at such a time as this".  As Mordecai said to Esther, "For who knows, you may be born for such a time as this".  Presently we could easily say that our Haman has risen in these past years in the form of various dictators all over the world with there gallows set in place. If our focus is only on our own personal Haman, we may stand the chance to lose sight of the big picture.  We need to consider both.  We are presently wrestling with the rise of the spirit of Anti-Christ all over the world, increasing with momentum daily. There is only one aim, and that is to see those who love the Most High dead and destroyed at all costs.

Esther and her people were found in exactly the same position we now find ourselves in.  And it is only going to get worse as we will soon enter into Tribulation and the persecution of all those left behind will increase drastically.  What some may think is a reason for us to stand and come against those in authority in the physical realm as appropriate, may have a place and time.  However, what Mordecai, as a type and shadow of the Holy Spirit, told Esther to do, was to fast for 3 days.  In a time of persecution He asks of us to fast.  And we are in a time of persecution. No longer just the underground church, but all those who call on the Name of Yehushua.  When we do not eat or drink for a time, we enter into a state of weakness of body and mind, but the fasting of the flesh, is the feasting of the spirit.  And this is where we need to be strong in...in the spirit man.  As the Word says, "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit", says the Lord.  We understand this 3 days to be significant with regard to the resurrection.  We will not be able to fight this in the flesh, but by resurrection power, which is the life of the Spirit.  The purpose of a fast is to humble our souls.  David said, "I humbled my soul with fasting".  It is to humble yourself.  And this I believe is exactly what He is calling us to do at this hour.  Unless we see the critical time we are in, and that we were born for such a time as this, we will only see this as just another religious "work", and not see the vital role we play in God's timing of our birth. But I pray that you will see that our time is exactly as that which was foreshadowed during Esther's time.  We can also know that we are coming into the heavenly throneroom of God and not to a mere man. Therefore we do not come unless we have searched our hearts and repented before we ask Him anything.

Our fasting has to be that of humbling ourselves afresh before the great High King, that we may indeed come with boldness to His throne of grace in utter humility.  Not only for ourselves, but also for those who will be here during the Tribulation.  This was the whole purpose of Esther's fasting. To prepare her heart before she approached the King's throne and plead for her people's lives. Haman is not about to go away, for he will be used as a judgment on those who take the ordinances of God lightly and scoff at the standard of holiness.  They will indeed pay with their lives as they will be called to deny their God.  And it is for them that we are to intercede and plead that He would extend His sceptor of favor and grace unto those who will desperately need it in the time to come. Her intercession was preceded with her own fasting. Can we really afford to take this call to sackloth lightly in such a time as this?  Haman has come into many of our lives in the form of unbelievers whether spouse, friend or neighbour.  That same spirit will start to rise even more within them in the very near future.  We are to pray and fast for those who are deceived and seek God's face to destroy the plans of the enemy that is outside His time of judgment.  It is His desire that His children, His Esthers will seek His face in such a time as this, as it is not His desire that anyone should perish.  Even as Jonah went in sackloth to Nineveh, as John the Baptist lived in it, we are to not only cry out that all repent, but we ourselves are to be clothed in repentance.

We have to start with our own hearts and undisciplined lifestyles, that which we compromising with, and allow Him to bring the sharp edge of His sword down on our uncircumcised hearts.  For it is the flesh which is our own personal Haman.  The word says in Romans 8 that the flesh is in enmity with the Spirit, even as Haman with Esther.  And unless you deal with your own personal Haman that you have cuddled and kept close, how can you ask Him with boldness to destroy the one without?  Deal with the Haman within before you want to deal with the Haman without.

It is NOW that we are to seek Him and call upon Him for mercy, for soon there will be destruction like never before.  Soon our merriment and joy will be turned into mourning.  Who can stand in the day of judgment before the Most High God?  I would say that an Esther fast is appropriate for this occasion, but in reality the fasting has to be a disposition of repentance.  In reality it has to be a state of mind where we walk in humility before Him, seeking Him to judge us now and save us from ourselves.  It is a time of mourning now over our unfaithful hearts and adulterous ways.  Now is the time to seek His face.

The number 47 in Hebrew is Abbir.  It means mighty and valiant.  This is the  Esther company that comes with boldness to the throne of grace.  The workers who in fact should be working already. They stand in the gap now.

The number 47 in Greek is Hagneia, which means purity and chastity.  This is a refrence to the virgin company that has not defiled themselves with this world.  Fasting is for the purpose that the Spirit may purify us.  It is a willing act on our behalf saying, "Lord, show me and do not spare me". This word Hagneia is derived from the word Hagnos.  Here is the definition of Hagnos.

Definition: free from ceremonial defilement, holy, sacred
Usage: (originally, in a condition prepared for worship), pure (either ethically, or ritually, ceremonially), chaste.

HELPS Word-studies

53 hagnós (an adjective, which may be cognate with 40 /hágios, "holy," so TDNT, 1, 122) – properly, pure (to the core); virginal (chaste, unadultered); pure inside and outholy because uncontaminated (undefiled from sin), i.e. without spoilation even within (even down to the center of one's being); not mixed with guilt or anything condemnable. Unsullied virgin.

Isaiah 47 I believe is meant for the USA, but also for all those who are still so part of the system of Babylon.  After this passage of scripture is the word He gave to us who are called for such a time as this, like Esther, Jonah and John the Baptist. How can we require of others to walk in repentance when we ourselves do not?

Isaiah 47

Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called tender and delicate.

Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover thy locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.

Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.

As for our redeemer, the Lord of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.

Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.

I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.

And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.

Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:

But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.

10 For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me.

11 Therefore shall evil come upon thee; thou shalt not know from whence it riseth: and mischief shall fall upon thee; thou shalt not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon thee suddenly, which thou shalt not know.

12 Stand now with thine enchantments, and with the multitude of thy sorceries, wherein thou hast laboured from thy youth; if so be thou shalt be able to profit, if so be thou mayest prevail.

13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.

15 Thus shall they be unto thee with whom thou hast laboured, even thy merchants, from thy youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save thee.

Word Received 7th February 2021

Put on your sackloth and sit in the ashes of humility.  For unless you yourself not only wear sackloth, but it is engraved in your fibre, how can you who have not allowed My holy judgment to have come over you speak the same judgment over another?

Are you wearing the sackloth of repentance?  Are you sitting in the ashes of humility?  Have you made this your disposition?  Are you recognizing the hour of your humiliation?  For how can there be any glory without humility?  Yet My people have ceased to seek Me in true repentance.  They are no longer the Elijahs who by their lives wear sackloth.  They point the finger and jugde.

I alone are He who judges and judges righteously.  But you have taken it upon you to claim My glory without true humility.  Now is the time to seek Me in sackloth and ashes.  Now is the time to humble yourself before Me.

If you have no identification with destruction, how can you idly speak it?  Look and you will see that unless you allow your sackloth to be the identification with My cross, My suffering, you cannot share in My glory.  Death unto Life!  Whilst you are still living life from out of your own ability, you have yet to enter into My death.  Therefore repent in earnestness.  Put on the sackloth of repentance and sit in the ashes of humility.

MARCHING ORDERS

This is a word I received in 2020 that is still active. Father has pressed it on my heart to post it, because the truth is we are inundated with so many words that they become like an assembly line.  Truly His word has become like pearls before swine because of this. Let us treasure that which He gives us, for His WORD is life.

The battle is indeed fiercer than ever before and I find myself facing the same giants that I have overcome in a season long ago.  It is as if the enemy has come with a new vengeance and has risen from the dead.  Only this time, he seems bigger.  My Goliath has come again taunting me, blaspheming my God and causing so much heartache all over again.

I have noticed this trend in the posts of late where other brothers and sisters find themselves overwhelmed.  You are in good company.  You are not alone.  The battle has grown fiercer for many.  However, where the first season of facing the all too familiar giants of your life was fought to reveal to you the things you need to deal with in your heart, pruning you and purifying you, this season, your weakness lies not in character, but in leaning on the arm of the flesh.  Leaning on your own understanding of previous experiences.  Thinking that you know your enemy, but being caught off guard by thinking you know him.  This is bootcamp.  This is divinely ordained so that the character He has forged in you may be tested.  Your faith is to come out as pure gold, and gold has to be placed in the furnace over and over again.

This season will not require the same weapons you used previously.  At least not using them in the same way.  New weapons of warfare will be given you and new strategy.  You do not have to figure it out, you need to wait on your marching orders from your Captain.  Much more time is to be spent seeking His face for this strategy.  If you look to the natural, it will appear as if nothing is happening.  But in the spirit, many warring angels have been assigned to surround you.  Do not fear.  Do not look at what you can see, but look at what you cannot see.  Look with the eyes of faith!  Your Red Sea will open when you place your staff of faith and authority in it.  Your Jordan will open, once His ark goes before you.

Position yourself to hear.  Write down what He is saying to you and do it.  Now is not the time to be wise in your own eyes.  Now is the time to have the mind of a soldier.  To obey instantly.  To walk circumspectly.  Know that your enemy is prowling around like a lion, seeking those whom he can devour.  He is always waiting at the door, waiting for the door of sin to open up to him.  Like Jesus, you too must have the mindset of “satan has nothing in Me.”  Everyday there will be puzzle pieces.  Every day He will give you your marching orders. Listen!  Watch!  And be constant in prayer.

Do not be disheartened.  Yes, it is overwhelming, but you have to realize and know that your God is for you and not against you.  Remember, you may be like a small David against your Goliath, coming with 5 small stones.  Only one stone is needed and He will show you which one.  Goliath is loud, cruel, probably ugly, merciless and tenacious, but you come in the NAME OF THE LORD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND JACOB.  You do not come to this war as just you.  You are coming under His authority, His power, and His strategy.  The stone He gives you, cherish it.  Study it.  Look at it from all angles and then do it!  Not by might, not by power but by the Spirit of God.  Do not give in to self-pity.  The moment you given in to self-pity, you give in to the flesh.  Walk in the Spirit.

Also make sure that when He calls you aside to rest, you do exactly that.  There will be times, where you physically have to rest and just do nothing.  Does this seem strange?  You have to remind yourself that you still live in an earthly body.  He promised wisdom to those who ask Him.  Expect wisdom, expect that which you ask of Him.

Some of you may experience physical pain.  The Spirit is stronger than the physical.  Be wise in your decisions, but do not neglect to fight this also in the Spirit.  Once again, different weapons for a different season.  Listen to what He says and do not be guided by your own understanding.

Lastly, this is a season.  It will pass.  It will not be forever.  Comfort yourself with this.  Do not be like Peter that looked at the storm, but look to Him.  Keep your eyes on the Author and Finisher of your faith.  He will not forsake you.

You have to go hear from Him personally what your marching orders are. Discipline is high on the list for all our orders we receive from our Captain. Our orders have to be dilligently followed through in ALL the areas of our lives.

WORSHIP in a time of pain and unbearable suffering is that which causes us to fly above our circumstances. It gives us better perspective and causes us to come out of the miry clay of self pity. To look to Him and not your storm.

WAITING does not come easily when our circumstances have been going on for years. It wears us down. But if you WAIT on Him, His promise is that He will give you new strength.  He WILL give you eagle's wings... So spend that much needed time soaking in His presence and be patient. WAITING is priestly and in itself an act of worship.

Lay your WILL down. Choose to let go of your WILL, your ideas, your plan to fix it. Be WILLING to be a living sacrifice everyday... He promised to lift those up who humble themselves. Consider this your mightiest weapon in your arsenal.

The WORD is your lamp to your feet and a light to your path. In our darkest times or in times of confusion, we find wisdom in the WORD of God. Return back to those personal words He gave you and drink again from that Rock that was smitten for you. He will refresh you and His WORD will once again begin to live in you. The WORD in some of you has become like a dried little plant that needs water again. Revive this seed that has grown. Do not neglect the personal words of revelation for Bible Study. The one is for equipping, the other for edifying.  Know your season.

I end this devotional with a word I received in November 2020. This word although given a few months back has been active ever since. Not only does His WORD never return void, but it continues... It is eternal.

My child, this war you find yourself in…find it not strange.  Have I not said that you are at war?  You can either lean on the arm of the flesh or the arm of the Lord.  You choose.  For though it seems unbearable, My love and guidance will not leave you.  Though I seem far, I am near.  Closer than your hand.  I am with you to guide you with My eye upon you.  If you come to Me, I will give you strategy.  I will reveal to you the enemy’s plans.  I will expose his schemes for your life.

Though it seems he is advancing, do not forget that I work all things for good for those who love Me and are called by My Name.  The furnace hotter, but My presence closer.  I am in your midst.  Know that you will come out of this.  For this is but a season.  What seems like the enemy is only those whom I have allowed.  Does this seem cruel now that you have dealt with these things before?  Does it seem relentless now that you have to deal with this again?  Know that your enemy is cruel and relentless.  Therefore, I require you to stand having done all.  Listen to My guidance in this season.  Listen to My voice telling you which way to go.  Do not lean on your own understanding.  What used to help you, will not help you now.  New war, new weapons, new strategy.

I will never fail you.  Do not fear.  With every temptation I will make a way of escape.  I will indeed make a way where there seems to be no way.  Whose report will you believe?  Though it seems impossible, nothing is impossible for Me!  So therefore, gird up your loins!  Gird up your strength in Me and know that I fight for you.  Even though it seems as if I am far, know that this season is a season I ordained to teach you to war.  New level, new strategy, new authority, new weapons.

See, I am indeed doing a new thing.  Can you hear them?  The horses?  They are coming.  Are you ready?  This is not a time to lie down.  This is a time to focus.  This is a time to set your face like a flint.  This is a time of war.

Acknowledge your weakness before Me, so that I may be your strength.  Childlike trust but with the mind of a soldier.  Do not lean on your own understanding.  Spend much time in My presence.  As My Son drew near to Me in His darkest hour, know that the hour is dark.  Draw near.  I will never fail you.  It is time to gird up your loins and face the giants.  It is time for war!

Scripture ref:

Isaiah 42

1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.

5 Thus saith God the Lord, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein:

6 I the Lord have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.

8 I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

10 Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

11 Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains.

12 Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare his praise in the islands.

13 The Lord shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail against his enemies.

14 I have long time holden my peace; I have been still, and refrained myself: now will I cry like a travailing woman; I will destroy and devour at once.

15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.

16 And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known: I will make darkness light before them, and crooked things straight. These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

17 They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images, that say to the molten images, Ye are our gods.

18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.

19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the Lord's servant?

20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.

21 The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them snared in holes, and they are hid in prison houses: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore.

23 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come?

24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the Lord, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.

25 Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.
