OVERCOMING EAGLES
I pondered a bit on what to call this devotional teaching, considering both the title “Building an Ark” and “Overcoming Eagles”. Since I’ve recently spoken so much about Priscilla and Aquila, who are a type and shadow of the overcoming eagles, I decided to go with that. Once again, we will be focusing quite a bit on Priscilla and Aquila in this teaching as well. Just as Father always does with all my devotional teachings, He has been bringing dreams and numbers and happenings to compile the content. I don’t know why He speaks to me in this way. Other people may teach in a different way, but with me He speaks through so many different avenues, just as I discussed in my previous teaching, “When God Speaks”. This is just another example of how He puts everything together in order to bring His message to you.
The important thing for me is that we ask ourselves why He has
been emphasizing the church of Smyrna and why is He so focused on the first
part of the tribulation, which is the time period of the church of Ephesus and
Smyrna. The only answer to that is that
we are very close. This is all in
preparation that we will understand what awaits us, that we will deal with the
things we need to deal with, and that we will be focused. Another thing I would like to ask for you to
take into consideration is the probability of these things happening to me -- the
dreams, numbers, happenings, etc. – all coming together to bring a
message. It is just unheard of, and I
often find myself standing in amazement.
I can never deny all He does to bring His messages together. This is what is on His heart, and my prayer is
that you will hear His heart today.
This all started about two weeks ago with my daughter
telling me that she had a dream where we went on vacation, and there were fire
ants and rattlesnakes all over. Then the
next day, my sister came to visit me. We
went for a walk, and right in the middle of the road was a dead snake. Then I had a friend call me and ask me to
pray for her husband, because “he was now in a den of vipers”. This was obviously symbolic, but I found
these three references to snakes very interesting and telling.
To break this down a little, the first thing we need to see
is that fire ants are workers. Proverbs
6:6 says, “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise”, and
then the following verses describes how the ant works. Again, ants is a reference to workers, and
then them being fire ants is a reference to the workers who are filled with the
fire of the Holy Spirit. The snakes
refer to the brood of vipers that John the Baptist addressed, who were the
Pharisees. With the rattlesnake in
particular, it rattles its tail to warn and alert and even to frighten away;
and they are venomous. When my daughter
told me about her dream, I immediately thought of Acts 27 where Paul was on a
ship and under arrest with a centurion watching over him. There was a storm, and it was so dark they
couldn’t see the moon. The people were
fearing for their lives. The evening
before an angel appeared and told Paul about the storm and that he need not
fear, as there would be no loss of life, and he would be coming before Caesar
afterwards. This is like a typical
situation with us where we will be under arrest, and then God will decide where
we will go and who He will bring before us.
So here is Paul in the midst of a storm where people are fearing for
their lives, and he is completely calm because he knows there will be no loss
of life and he will be going before Caesar.
The people on the ship actually wanted to throw Paul overboard, and the
centurion would not allow this and therefore saved him. They ended up throwing the wheat into the
water to lighten the load. In this the
ship itself represents the church, and the wheat represents the gospel that is
thrown into the sea of humanity. They
were then shipwrecked and ended up on the island of Malta, or Malita. What is interesting about the name of this
island is that it means honey, according to the Strong’s Concordance. It is almost like crossing over the Jordan
River to go into Canaan, where you find milk and honey… but you also find giants. As they came into this island, there were
Barbarians there. Let’s go to Acts 28
and see what happens as they all end up sitting by a fire (think of the fire
ants).
ACTS 28
1 And
when they were escaped, then they knew that the island was called Melita.
2 And the barbarous people shewed us no little kindness: for
they kindled a fire, and received us every one, because of the present rain,
and because of the cold.
3 And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid
them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand.
4 And when the barbarians saw the VENOMOUS BEAST hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this
man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance
suffereth not to live.
As they are
sitting by the fire, a venomous beast, a viper, bites Paul on the hand. Think of the mark of the beast that will be
on the hand. This is also a type and
shadow of the beast, satan, who will be thrown into the lake of fire at the end
of the tribulation, just as this venemous beast is right at the end of
Acts. Paul shook off that snake and
threw it back into the fire, just like the lake of fire. We have the beginning and the end, the first
and the last, as a type and shadow in Acts 28.
Therefore, in Acts 28 we see the type and shadow of when the beast will
be cast into the lake of fire, the last.
However, taking into account the actual timing of the book of Acts, it
is also the beginning of the tribulation and the persecution of the saints…it
shows the beginning and the end or the “first and the last”.
Now going
back to the reference to brood of vipers, this made me think of John the
Baptist calling the Pharisees this as he called them out and judged them. Then Yeshua called them whitewashed
tombs. As we know, John the Baptist came
in the spirit of Elijah, as Yeshua said.
There is an interesting connection with this. After John the Baptist was in prison for
about ten months (scholars have said this was about the timeframe), then Herod’s
wife wanted him dead with his head to be cut off and brought out on a platter.
Here we have John the Baptist as a type and shadow of the Elijah company who
are pursued by the Jezebel spirit, as Herod’s wife is a type and shadow of
Jezebel going after the heads of the prophets – the eagles. An eagle is a connection to the prophetic and
being sent out. Here we have John the
Baptist as the Elijah company addressing the brood of vipers. Another type and shadow of the Elijah company
is Smyrna.
Let’s now go
to Romans 16 where Paul is wanting the people to greet Priscilla and Aquila, as
he is now well acquainted with them.
ROMANS 16
3 Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus:
4 Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom
not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.
Here Paul is a type and shadow of Christ. Just as John the Baptist’s neck (head) was on
the line, in the same way, Priscilla and Aquila, the type and shadow of the
eagles of the Elijah Company, lay their necks on the line for Christ. Now we
will go to Revelation 2 where it talks about the church of Smyrna.
REVELATION
2
8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These
things saith the FIRST AND THE LAST, WHICH
WAS DEAD, AND IS ALIVE;
9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou
art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are
not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold,
the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye
shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee
a crown of life.
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith
unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
Remember earlier I mentioned the beginning and the
end, the first and the last, in Acts 28.
The Elijah company, the church of Smyrna, will sow their lives as a seed
into the ground, just like in John 12, and they will be raised up on the last
day to rule and reign. They go out
first, but they will be raised up last to reign as kings and priests (Luke 22:
28 – 30). Verse 9 in Revelation 2 again
references the mark of the beast, or the snake on the hand. There will be great poverty for those who do
not take the mark of the beast, because they won’t be able to buy or sell, or “trade”. Smyrna was opposite of Ephesus and
specifically known for its trading. Here
we have the Christians, and they are in poverty. The “synagogue of satan” also mentioned in
verse 9 is a reference to the brood of vipers.
In verse 10, the reference to being thrown into prison for 10 days is a
direct reference to John the Baptist being in prison for 10 months, as
everything will happen faster in the time to come. In summary, Priscilla and Aquila are the ones
who lay their necks on the line during this Roman period where the church was
persecuted by Nero and those before him.
Nero was known for his tortures, where Christians were put on the stake
and lit on fire. They were even used as
lamps and were known as the candlesticks of Christianity. Think of Revelation 2 where Yeshua walks
amongst the candlesticks, which is so beautiful. Then John the Baptist was a
light, but as we know, he wasn’t the light. The Christians – the Elijah company and the
Smyrna group – are the torches and the candlesticks that burn for Yeshua, and
they are also willing to lay their lives down.
By laying down their lives, they shine as this is their testimony. We
can see that Smyrna, John the Baptist, and Elijah are all the same in
scripture.
Going back to Romans, Paul is on his way to Rome and
to Corinth, which was also in Rome.
Romans 1 gives us a good description of the people in that time, which
matches with what we see in our world today.
We see the same things going on today…
backbiting, slander, murder, maliciousness, hating parents, rebellion,
reprobate minds… horrible things. The
Priscillas and Aquilas and the apostles will be sent into the world to these
people doing these things. That won’t
be easy, but they are being sent to the lost. Paul was sent to Caesar, who was definitely
lost, to stand before him. He was sent
from different places to other different places. So the apostles will be sent to the world and
to the church. In Romans 2, Paul speaks
to the church and tells them that they cannot be quick to judge and they must
be sure that they are not guilty of the things they want to judge. He reminds them that the Lord God has
reserved an eternal life of damnation for those who do not live holy lives. Sanctification and protecting the church from
deception was the main issue with the church, but salvation was the main issue
for the lost, which is the wheat being thrown into the sea of humanity. That is going to be the sole purpose of those
being sent out and laying their lives down for Christ.
Now I would like to share a dream that my friend Simoné had.
SIMONE’S DREAM – THE ARK
In
this dream, Simoné and her husband were watching a devotional teaching of mine
on her cell phone. I was outside in my
garden giving this teaching. She cannot
remember all I was talking about, but the part she does remember is that I was
talking about my daughter being caught in the trap of pornography. I was very somber and saddened. I was talking about the church in general,
using my daughter as an example, saying that as a mother I should have broken
this hold over her. Simoné said that I
gave great insight and wisdom regarding this and was teaching about this. Simoné’s husband was a bit taken aback by the
topic, thinking that it was very strange for me to talk about this, as I do not
usually discuss this in my devotional teachings. She explained to him that this is not the normal
topic I talk about. She noticed in the
background that there was a small pathway leading up to a wooden house. It was almost the size of a 20-foot container,
and it was slightly elevated. There was
a lot of trees surrounding it, and it had a glass door. As I was finishing my devotional, I started
talking about this small wooden house behind me. I shared that even though it does not look
like much and is insignificant, if people only knew the value of it, they would
understand how unique it is with all the time and effort it took to build
it. It is much more of worth than what
it looks like. On the inside it is much
more precious than what it looks on the outside. This wooden house reminded Simoné of Noah’s
ark.
Next
the video teaching was finished, and I said goodbye. However, strangely enough the camera did not
stop filming. It was now an almost
“behind the scenes” video where Simoné and her husband could see what I was
doing and speaking afterwards. The next
moment the glass door of the wooden small house opened, and out of it came my
daughter. She peeked around the door to
see if she could find me. At this,
Simoné became fearful that my daughter heard everything I said by using her as
an example in my video. Then I came past
the camera going up the steps leading to my daughter, and I gave my daughter a
tight hug, taking her hand and going back down the steps walking to the front
garden.
As
the camera continues filming, it shows us coming to the front garden, and
Simoné thinks, “Who is making this video?
How come this is like a reality show?”
She thought this devotional is so different, being able to see what goes
on in my life.
Then
she saw a woman and man in my garden.
There were walls surrounding the garden and a gate, and these people
just came in. The best way Simoné can
describe how she felt about them is the word “weasels”. They looked and felt like real weasels, very
sneaky and up to something. They were
looking to find something in the garden to steal. I had all different kinds of garden ornaments
that they wanted, and they just took what they could. Simoné saw how the man put something in his
pocket. As he did this, my daughter and
I recognized these two “weasels”. I then
addressed them and calmly told them to put down what they took and to get
going. They did so and went away.
All
of a sudden right in front of the camera she saw a hand holding a waybill. She realized then that this must be a
delivery or courier company. The man
wanted me to write down my address and signature. However, I told him the package was already
there and why did I need to write down my address, since he obviously knows my address. I said it was not necessary and I drew a line
through it. My daughter and I then
turned around and walked into our house.
Simoné could see from the outside all that was going on and how my
daughter and I then went to sit on a couch in the living room with this
package.
It
was then that she noticed the two weasels sitting in their car. The man took out of his pocket what he had
taken from my garden. It was a key
holder with a trinket, which was a plastic slice of bread. He laughed and smirked, quite chuffed that
they could steal from me. End of dream.
Simoné
sent me a voice message to tell me of this dream. She ended it by telling me very specifically
that she woke up from the dream at 2:50 a.m., and I took note of the way she
said this.
Interpretation:
This
dream is about the apostles once again being sent to the churches and having to
address issues that most people would rather not want to address (like
pornography, adultery, fornication, idolatry) -- that which happens in the dark
behind closed doors, of which the pornography is a type and shadow. I am using my daughter as an example because
she represents those who are still immature in the Spirit and still in
bondage. Many children of the Lord are
still in bondage, whether it is about sins they are still bound to, or
dispositions, traditions, or past emotional baggage. These are issues of
sanctification that will still be addressed during the Great Tribulation.
Simoné
and her husband are a type and shadow of Priscilla and Aquila. They are listening to what I am teaching
them, but not just listening, but also watching my day-to-day life -- what I am
teaching as well as what happens to those who will confront these very issues.
This is the part where she is trying to figure out whether it was a reality
show. It is not just important what we
say, but also what we do; we have to be authentic. It is about reality and walking in the truth.
I am teaching about this because during the tribulation, sanctification and
walking in holiness will still be relevant to prepare the children to get ready
to be taken up in the ark (as my daughter came out of the ark). The wooden small house does indeed represent
the ark, hence why it was slightly elevated.
Compared to today’s vessels or passenger liners, a wooden ark is indeed
insignificant, but the cargo is of great value.
The cargo is souls, precious children of God. The glass door is about walking in
transparency and in truth… nothing hidden.
Yeshua said, “I am the Way (the door), the Truth (no lies, transparency,
like the glass door) and the Life (Salvation, as in the ark). We will be building an ark, and the ark’s name
is the Church. This transparency and
honesty lead to speaking the truth in love, and the fruit of it will be of
intimacy and union between the children of God, hence why my daughter and I
hugged. Yeshua said the world will know you
are My disciples when you love one another. (More of the dream interpretation
will follow below as we work into scripture and more teaching.)
Father wanted me to take note of Simoné saying that she
woke up at 2:50, and I believe this was on a Friday or Saturday. Then on the Sunday after, I went on a
shopping spree to get a few things I needed with a voucher my mother had given
me for my birthday. After shopping, I
had 50 rand left, and I knew I needed some hand cream. I had a choice between olive and aloe vera
hand cream. Usually I would
automatically choose the olive, because it is a connection for me with the
prophetess Anna from the tribe of Asher, and their emblem is an olive
tree. There have been many connections
with Anna and my life, so I would prefer the olive hand cream. In this case, however, I was impressed to
take the aloe vera instead, and it was 50 rand.
On the way back from the shop, I wondered to myself why I took the aloe
vera and knew there must be some significance to it. Then I remembered that I had looked up 250
(the time Simoné woke up) in the Strong’s, and it means aloe. I also remembered my husband asking me
before I went shopping why I didn’t just use the body cream in our bathroom, only
to realize later that this too
was aloe vera body cream.
So now I have the aloe vera hand cream and body cream, and 250 means
aloe. It was obvious then that Father
was wanting me to focus on aloe.
As I said, Strong’s 250 means aloe – “The strongly
aromatic, quick-drying sap of a tree (the Aquillaria) – mixed with myrrh and
used for embalming”. What happens with
the Smyrna group, the Priscillas and Aquilas?
They will die; they will be obedient unto death. Aloe also means “the true aloe plant that was
used for embalming fluid mixed with myrrh.
This is a reference to Song of Solomon 4:14, as a “spice of love”, which
is a representation of the Bride who lays her life down for Christ. Further it says, “It probably refers to an
aromatic substance derived from the eaglewood tree (Aquillaria
agallocha)”. And in connecting all of
this, we must remember that the name Aquila in the Strong’s means eagle! It is amazing to see how perfectly Father has
put this all together -- as Aquila means eagle, and 250 means aloe, which is an
embalming substance that comes from an eaglewood tree called Aquilaria. No coincidence there!
Because the name Aquila means eagle it shows a
connection to the tribe of Dan. This
tribe is known as the tribe that judges.
Think of the Queen of the South that Yeshua said would rise with the men
of Ninevah to judge this generation (Matthew 12:42). The Queen of the South, who represents the
Bride with her virgins, will rise up with the men of Ninevah, who represents
the Gentile Bride, and they will judge the people. In my devotional teaching, “The Queen of the South” (which I recommend that you read/watch for greater
understanding), I explain this from the understanding of Psalm 45, but I also
reference Deborah. Deborah was a judge,
and we read of her in the book of Judges; she too is from the tribe of
Dan. Deborah sang a song about the tribe
of Dan who was on boats… or arks. They were
building boats or arks; they were ark builders, so to speak. Another amazing connection! Simoné also told me
that her daughter came to her recently in the middle of night frustrated. She said she was dreaming the same thing over
and wanted to stop. She asked her why
she wanted the dreams to stop, and she said it was because they were
boring. She said she was dreaming about
ships – they were little ships that keep getting bigger and bigger, and they were
all wooden ships. Again, amazing!
The emblem of the tribe of Dan is actually a snake,
remembering that we were previously discussing snakes or vipers. This is somewhat depicting the bad side of
Dan. The other thing associated with
this tribe is an eagle, and this is the overcoming side of the tribe of
Dan. We know that eagles eat snakes,
which is quite interesting. In Genesis
49:17, Jacob spoke a blessing over the tribe of Dan and said, “Dan shall be a
serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his
rider shall fall backward.” It’s very
interesting that I went for a walk with my sister and found a dead snake along
our path. Let’s now go to Revelation 12
where it talks about “that ole serpent”.
REVELATION
12
9 And the great dragon was cast out,
that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:
he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
We can see here that the serpent is also considered to be
the dragon. After looking at this, I
found that Jewish scholars believe that the different creatures associated with
the tribe of Dan are the lion, the serpent, the eagle, and the dragon. Earlier we read in Acts 28 about Paul casting
the serpent into the fire, which is a type and shadow of satan who is being
cast into the bottomless pit or lake of fire just before the 1000-year
reign. Going back to the animals
associated with Dan, let’s look at the lion with both the good and the
bad. The bad is that satan is as a
roaring lion, and on the flip side we have Yeshua as the Lion of the tribe of
Judah. With the eagle, we see the bad
with the false prophet and the good with the eagles as the true prophets of
God, even the Priscillas and Aquilas.
Then we have the dragon, which is satan as the snake, or satan versus
God. The lion, the eagle, and the dragon
are all linked to the tribe of Dan and the time to come.
1. Dragon
or serpent is satan,
2. Beast
or lion is the antichrist, and
3. Eagle
is the false prophet.
Obviously, this is on the bad side of Dan. The good side is the good prophets and
eagles, the Priscillas and Aquilas, the overcomers. Revelation 16 depicts for us this “unholy
trinity” of the enemy.
REVELATION
16
13 And I saw three unclean spirits like
frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast,
and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
Going back to the Elijah/John the Baptist company, or
church of Smyrna, we will see that this company of God’s people point to the
light and has two important functions:
to reach the lost and to build the church, which includes confronting
the Pharisees, or the vipers. We will
read now what Elijah will do in the time to come in Malachi 4; this is what God
is working towards.
MALACHI 4
5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the
prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:
6 And he shall turn the heart of the
fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I
come and smite the earth with a curse.
The Elijah company will have a focus on the family. In Simoné’s dream, my focus was to address
issues within the family that there may be love and restoration, and also my
daughter and I were very close. Right at
the beginning of the tribulation, families will fall apart. Remember that Yeshua said He had come to
bring division, and He made it very clear that it would be within the
households. Families will turn against
one another, primarily out of fear for their lives. Then at the end of the seals time period,
restoration will start to take place where the hearts of the fathers and the
children will once again turn towards one another.
Now we will look a bit more at the interpretation of Simoné’s
dream. The two weasels who stole some of
my garden ornaments represent the Pharisees.
As I addressed them, I did so in calmness knowing my authority and
chasing them away from my property. The
garden represents my life, and them taking a keyholder with a trinket that is
as a slice of bread is representative of them taking whatever they can find of
what I teach, the bread that I serve.
They were stealing whatever they could from what I was saying to use it
against me and twist it, just as the Pharisees did to Yeshua. They used whatever He said to them against
Him because of envy. In the dream, the
weasels were then sitting in a car, which represents ministry. The key
represents that which keeps the car/ministry going. Their sole purpose is to
expose other ministries, and they are accusers and slanderers. I am not saying that we should not have
people out there who warn, because this is important. However, there are ministries who have a sole
purpose only to expose, and this is the key that keeps their ministry going. We should be much more than just exposing the
works of the enemy. The package delivery
is simply Father’s provision. Simoné saw
a hand and thought it was a courier company.
Father already knows my address…the packages will come. I only need to sign, as in being in
agreement, in faith trusting Him that He will provide in the time to come. Then she saw how my daughter and I went and sat
in the living room, the living room representative of how you live your
life. Then we sat on the couch to rest,
which is us entering His rest; and we sat together which represents
restoration. This example I have just
shared is how we will be sent to the churches, like John the Baptist, and
confront the vipers and lay our lives down, also building up the church in
sanctification.
The next part is primarily about being sent into the world
as well as a bit about the church. I will now share two more dreams from
another close friend of mine named Chantel.
Neither Chantel nor Simoné knew what Father was preparing me for when
they had their dreams. He sent these
dreams in order to prepare me and minister to you. Make sure to take note of the different
animals in all of the dreams I am sharing.
Chantel had these two dreams in the same night, and they hold hands. The
first one is about a lion attack.
CHANTEL’S 1ST
DREAM – LION ATTACK
Chantel
dreamed that she was in a house that she did not know at all, but it was her
house. She had a pet lion. To her it was like Nala, referring to her dog
who grew up in her house. The lion was
very big and was only one colour, gold, including his mane - one colour right
through. She wanted to take the lion out,
and on her way out, the lion turned on her and wanted to bite her. The lion bit her on her left arm. His mouth was so big that her whole arm could
almost fit into it. However, she did not
bleed at all. They were at the back
metal door and she was desperately trying to keep him out. She was struggling to shut the door and
eventually she could hook the door closed.
End of dream.
CHANTEL’S 2ND DREAM - SCORPIONS
Ivan
and Chantel were on a highway with double lanes on both sides and a bridge
(Ivan is her husband). She remembers it
being the R59 and it being on the south side of Johannesburg. They were walking on the left side of this
highway towards Bracken Downs. As they walked, they passed two traffic
officers. Before this, they saw a white
van with no markings and dark windows.
They also saw something suspicious with this van, and it was after this
that they noticed the traffic officers approaching. The officers asked them
whether they saw the white van and whether they would be able to identify
them. Whilst they are talking, the van
comes from the other side and they point to the white van alerting the officers
to go after them. The officers did so
and stopped them. Six men exited the
white van, dressed in only black uniforms.
Immediately, Chantel sensed that these were undercover “Scorpions” that
we have in South Africa wearing black uniforms with AK-47s, which would be the
same as America’s “SWAT” team. They saw
Chantel and Ivan and knew that they pointed them out to the officers. They recognized them as those who saw them
doing something illegal. Chantel cannot
remember in the dream what this was.
The
dream then shifts to them having moved into a new home, just like her previous
dream about the lion attacking her.
Chantel does not recognize the house.
Everything was chaotic in the house with everything all over the
place. Chantel waited for her help,
Dora, to come in. It was already 9:00.
She kept on wondering where Dora was and why she was not there yet. Everything was in disarray with boxes all
over and dishes to be done.
They
also had a factory on the premises, but the factory was closed on this particular
day. Ivan told her that they were
closed, that they would not be trading, and it was as if it was a Shabbat. However, they also knew that this white van would
find them and would come to them. The
next moment Ivan was outside meeting them.
Whilst he was speaking to them, Chantel was in the kitchen, not wanting
to partake in the confrontation. Whilst
making herself some coffee, one of these “Scorpions” came into the kitchen with
his black uniform and AK-47, wanting to use the restroom. She was nervous, not sure what to do, and scared
that he would harm her. However, he was
apologetic and humble in his approach to her.
She was floored and very intimidated by this, even confused to the point
of not knowing where the restroom was.
She then did something she would not normally do, which was to tell him
that he could use the restroom linked to their bedroom. She is very private and would not allow this
with a stranger, let alone someone who appears dangerous. She was so grateful that he would not do her
any harm.
Then
the scene of the dream changed again and the phone rings. It is on loudspeaker and Ivan was speaking to
the head of the Scorpions. He then gave
them a warning that they would be fined due to the fact that they owe Eskom money
(Eskom is our electricity provider in South Africa), as well as AFRI-forum, and
two other places. She remembered that
these had to do with land. They are now
duly warned according to this man.
Chantel then felt that she needed to speak to him and say to him, “Sir,
I just want you to know that we are now five years no longer using Eskom and
have been using solar power. We do not
owe Eskom anything, and we also do not belong to AFRI-forum or the other
institutes. We made right with everybody
and do not owe anyone. You have the
wrong people.” End of dream.
Interpretation:
These
two dreams were dreamed on the same night and are connected. Firstly, the name Ivan comes from the name
John, reminding us of John the Baptist.
Then Chantel means stone as well as songbird. Just as I mentioned that Simoné and her
husband represent Priscilla and Aquila, so do Chantel and Ivan.
In
the first dream, the lion speaks of those within the household that will come
against those who are sold out to Christ, as well as a type and shadow of the
anti-Christ. The house also represents
the church and also represents her house.
You will remember that in my previous devotional, “The Spirit of Truth”, I discussed how the
Lord said that he came to bring division and that this division will be within
the household where brother will come against sister, sister against brother, and
children will even bring their parents before the authorities. Those who are part of your household, the
“friendly pets”, or friends (dogs are a reference to friends, as “man’s best
friend”) will suddenly become devouring lions turning against you. Remember,
Chantel considered this lion to be friendly, like her dog, Nala, representing
those whom we love. The fact that this
lion is part of the household and that she is referring to it as her dog Nala
made me think of the “Lion King” movie where Simba represents the king and Nala
is his bride. This lion represents those
who are part of the household of God, the backslidden and lukewarm, who will
turn on those sold out to Christ. At the
same time, the lion also represents authority, because a lion and the colour
gold represents kingship or rulership -- those who are in authority. Usually, a male lion’s authority in the wild
is determined by how black and big its mane is.
It is by how they appear and intimidate the other males. However, this lion is completely gold and
represents those who abuse their authority to oppress the weak.
Taking
her next dream into consideration, the lion in this dream represents those in
authority, so as the Scorpions or SWAT team in the second dream represents
those in authority as well, along with the other governmental institutes whom
they were told they owe money to. These
represent the principalities and powers that will use those in governmental
positions to come against the children of God during the tribulation to
persecute them.
In
both dreams Chantel is in great fear, fearing the lion and the Scorpions -- those
in authority. It is easy for us to speak
against those we do not agree with, but it is quite another thing when you are
brought before authorities that have the power to cast you into prison or have
you killed. I have said this before…
fear will be a constant enemy during the tribulation because of the
persecution. It is the fear of man that
the enemy will use to intimidate and also falsely accuse in the time to
come.
In
the first dream, Chantel was bitten on her left arm, and in the next dream they
were walking on the left side of the highway.
In scripture, the right side speaks of strength and reigning, as Christ
is at the right hand of the Father, and He saves us by his right hand. Our right hand is also generally considered
to be our strongest. Her being bitten on
her left arm and then walking on the left side of the highway speaks of the
opposite, which is weakness. Weakness in
this case points to two things: the fear
of man, but also to not be depend on yourself or on man who is weak. The back door points to Christ being our rear
guard, because the enemy likes to come upon us from behind. With the armor of God there is no armor for
the back; this is because Yeshua is our rear guard. Her struggling to close the door speaks of
spiritual warfare within the household of God.
This is about steadfast resisting the enemy in faith. The lion points to those in authority within
the church as well who are out of line being predators, whom the Priscillas and
Aquilas must resist. The enemy would want to find entrance through the backdoor
as well. The small hook that keeps the
door closed is faith. With faith we are
able to do mighty things, even stop lions.
Psalm 91:13 says, “Thou shalt tread upon
the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under
feet.” Here we have a lion, an adder
(which is a snake), and a dragon mentioned again.
In the second dream about the Scorpions, Ivan and Chantel are
a type and shadow of Priscilla and Aquila sent out to the highways and byways.
Note that they were on the south side towards Johannesburg. Think of the Queen of the South, who stands
on the right hand of the King in Psalm 45, rising up to judge this generation. In the Strong’s, that right hand means
south. Luke 14:23 says, “And the Lord
said unto the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to
come in, that my house may be filled’”.
He wants them all – the poor, the lame, the destitute, the hungry. But as the Word continues in Luke 14, there
will be those who will say they have an ox to feed (material things), land to
tend to (responsibilities), and family to take care of; they are not willing to
leave these things behind. Then Yeshua
says that these cannot be His disciples.
He cannot send them out if they are not willing to leave these things
behind.
Ivan
and Chantel are literally on a highway, which points to going into the cities. Johannesburg is considered as the financial
hub of South Africa. They are on the R59
and 59 means marketplaces. You will
remember in my video called, “Apostolic Sending and Seeing”, that I talked
about how we will be sent into the marketplace, the cities, much like Moses was
sent to Egypt, representing the world and its riches. The letter R is the 18th letter of
the alphabet. The letter R of R59 in the
Strong’s concordance is G18, which means “agathos”, describing who originates
from God and is empowered by Him in their life through faith to do
intrinsically good. In other words, they
are sent ones -- apostles, sent to the marketplace, the highways and byways. They serve as a type and shadow of Priscilla
and Aquila.
In
both dreams Chantel finds herself in a new house. This once again points to being sent, because
the apostles will go from house to house to minister to those of the household
of God. They are aware that they do not
know the house, yet they know it is their house. Together all the households form one church
or family. What they will find at these
houses is chaos. Things must be set in
order. Her house was in complete disarray.
Chantel
was waiting for Dora, her help. It was
9:00 and the number 9 means divine completion or fulfilment, meaning that the
time has come to clean up the church and the chaos in it. For this, He will provide a Dora, as Dora
means gift of God. This points to ministering to one another with the gifts of
the Spirit. You will remember Mhya’s
dream in my last devotional, “When God Speaks”, about the toys
hanging from the ceiling representing the gifts of the Spirit that come from
the Father above. The church was the dilapidated
and demented children’s hospital, and they were not using the gifts of God. He will provide us with the gifts of the Spirit
to help build the church again. Paul
said to the Romans that he longed to come to the Corinthians to lay hands on
them that they may receive some gift in order to establish them, or to
strengthen and encourage them. He is
telling them that their gifts will be used to assist and strengthen the
churches in the midst of their chaos.
The Elijah company and church of Smyrna are builders. They build the church. They lay foundations and they build walls, or
better yet, they are building the ark.
Chantel is looking for Dora because the time has come to clean up. In the same way, He is saying to us, you need
to earnestly seek the gifts of the Spirit for the time to come to help My
church.
The
white van points to white-washed tombs, which is what Yeshua called the
Pharisees. They are white on the
outside, but inside is a very abominable creeping thing… death. Black Scorpions came out of this white
van. The traffic officers are those who
are watchman of the church who are warned about them and the apostles will
point them out, saying, “Pay attention and see to it that you address this in
the church. Do not ignore it.” The Scorpions represent the Pharisees, of the
household of God, but full of envy and bitterness. Scorpions sting. Ezekiel, a type and shadow of the Son of Man, who
was addressed himself as the “Son of Man”, was told that he will find himself
between briars and thorns and scorpions.
What all these have in common is the ability to sting and having venom
as well. Remembering that Aquila means
eagle and represents the overcoming part of the tribe of Dan, consider that a mother
eagle builds her nest with thorns and briars and softens it with her
feathers. The eagles, the Elijah
company, will find themselves in thorns and briars, as well as scorpions.
At
Chantel and Ivan’s house they have a factory that is closed. She understands from Ivan that they are not
to trade, specifically sensing that it is a Sabbath day. However, when we read about the Church of
Smyrna in Revelations 2, we read that though they are in poverty, they are
actually rich. This points to a time
frame of great poverty amidst a world where the mark of the beast will be
enforced. Think of the sting of a snake
or scorpion bite, and that those who do not agree, that is to say who “will not
trade”, will find themselves in physical poverty. Their riches will be in Christ, that is to
say, they will be in His rest knowing He will provide. They do not trade with this world; they are
not part of this world, hence why the factory was closed for trading.
The
Scorpions are giving them a warning about how much they owe to the “government”,
falsely accusing them. Chantel addresses
this with great boldness, and all this points to what Yeshua told his disciples
to expect in the time to come. Luke 12:58-59
says, “When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate,
as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him;
lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and
the officer cast thee into prison. I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence,
till thou hast paid the very last mite.”
Chantel told them that they had paid in full and owe nobody. She also said that they have not used Eskom
as an electricity provider for five years, but solar instead. The number 5 speaks of grace and also points
to the fulfilment, the number 9, of the age of the Gentiles, who are saved by
grace through faith. This is what the seals
period of the tribulation is for. It is
the fulfilment of the age of the Gentiles, where the Smyrna group will bring in
the harvest of Gentiles, and some Jews too, but Jacob’s trouble points to the
Jews. Eskom speaks of depending on man’s
power and submitting to earthly authority, whereas solar power speaks of
depending on the “Son” and His authority.
She is making it clear under whose authority she is trusting and
speaking.
The
Scorpion that comes into the house to use her restroom being apologetic and
humble points to those who will be reached by the Spirit, those whom we thought
would persecute us. A type and shadow of
that would be Saul who was a Pharisee who persecuted the Christians and later
became Paul. Many “Sauls” will be met on
the way of persecuting Christians that will become “Pauls”. The way this will be done is by opening our
heart, of which Chantel’s bedroom is symbolic of, and testifying of our own
personal sanctification, the restroom, to those who come against us. The AK-47 is an assault rifle, but they will
be able to resist it. No weapon formed against them will prosper and every
tongue that rises against them they will condemn (Isaiah 54). The focus is to
not fear man, the left arm, but to know that when we are weak, He is
strong.
About two years ago, I prayed for Ivan and Chantel for the
time to come, and as I was praying, I had this impression on my heart that they
are building an ark where they live now, and they will be used in building
families. I felt they would be
ministering to couples in particular.
When I told them about this, they laughed because this is somewhat like
an internal joke with them that where they live is like Noah’s ark. This is because of the number of animals they
have, and they also run a lodge where they keep rooms for people and minister
to people and marriages. That is
amazing! They are literally a Noah’s
ark, so to speak. Father gave me a
scripture for them at that time, which was Genesis 6:14, which says, “ Make thee an ark
of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and
without with pitch.” They have a lodge
with many rooms… specifically to minister to married couples. When I wrote this
down, the Spirit impressed upon my heart to look up 614 in the Strong’s. In the Greek it means hidden away, treasured,
stored up. Think of my explanation in
Simoné’s dream about the ark…treasure, great value, just as Moses was placed in
a basket in the river, and he was a treasure of great value or precious cargo. In Hebrew it means ingathering or a
gathering in of crops... a harvest.
A few days ago, I woke up
with a song in my mind that would not typically be a song that I would
sing. It was only the main lyrics that
were, “Knock, knock, knocking on heaven’s door”. Immediately I thought of the ark and when it
is closed, and how people are knocking on the door wanting to get in and they
are unable to do so. I thought it was
very interesting that I would wake up with this song in my mind. I looked up the song and found out more about
it along with the lyrics. The lyrics
are:
Mama take this badge off of me
I can't use it anymore
It's getting dark, too dark to see
I feel I'm knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door
Knock-knock-knockin' on heaven's door

Mama put my guns in the ground
I can't shoot them anymore
That long black cloud is comin' down
I feel I'm knockin' on heaven's door
This song is actually about this sheriff or deputy who was hunting down
Billy the Kid, and it was coming to the point that he would lay his guns down
and give up hunting him. When I woke up
with this song, it was 4:45 a.m. When I
looked up this number in the Strong’s, it means proconsul or deputy in the
Greek. What are the chances of
this? Another amazing confirmation with
the main question being, what was Father showing me? He took me back to the fact that there was a
centurion who wanted to save Paul on the ship, because Paul was to be brought
forth to Caesar to speak and minister to him.
He also reminded me of a prison guard who was guarding Paul and Silas in
the dungeon when the prison doors opened because of their praise. The prison guard and his whole family were
saved. Then there was a soldier at
Yeshua’s arrest whose ear was cut off but then was healed and would have likely
been saved because of that. In these
examples, there are several centurions, or deputies so to speak. With this Greek word that means deputy or
proconsul (like a centurion), it is only used once in scripture and that is in
Acts 18:12 where it talks about Gallio, who was a deputy of Achaia. Paul was brought before him, and the Jews
were saying he needed to go before the judgment seat. Gallio said that he found no fault in Paul
and he would be no judge in such of their matters. Backing up to verse 8 of this same chapter,
it talks about Crispus and how he and his household were saved. It says, “And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue,
believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing
believed, and were baptized.” Paul
actually wanted to leave Athens, the Mediterranean, but he ended up staying
with Priscilla and Aquila for one year and six months. The Lord had told him that there would be
many believers in Corinth, and one of them was Crispus. Father has purposed that there will be
certain people in authority that he will send us to, to minister to them,
because He wants to save them as well. This
is somewhat like saving a Scorpion in Chantel’s dream.
I did some
research on the name Gallio. I found
that there was a centurion called Gallio who was the one who took the seamless
garment of Yeshua that He wore at His crucifixion that was not torn, and he
became saved. It is believed that he was
that centurion who was on the ship with Paul.
That is so amazing, and also amazing how Father brings all of this
together! This takes us back to that
Scorpion who comes into Chantel’s house and wants to use the restroom, as
entering into the household of God.
After I was done putting all of this together, I
stood in amazement of how Father continuously does this… He puts it together perfectly and shows me
all the pieces along the way. Even in amazement,
I had the question, So what? What are
the readers and listeners going to do with this information? Obviously, they can see how the Lord has
instigated and followed through with all of it; but I still wondered how this
would touch His people and how they would use it. If it was just to gain more knowledge, then I
felt I had failed. I struggled with this immensely after I put it all
together. It was then on a Sunday,
Mother’s Day, that I spoke to the Lord about it and told Him there must be more
with this; the information alone will not cause us to endure. Even learning this and knowing it, the
propensity still greatly exists to go into cognitive dissonance just because of
the massiveness of what is to come; we cannot comprehend it. We will not endure with more information. I pondered so much about this, even to the
point of sadness. As I was thinking
about it, I was sitting on my couch and began thinking that there must be a
vision that will help us to endure and cause us to pursue and stay the course
all the way to the end, even to the point of laying our lives down. I reminded the Lord of His word that without
a vision, the people perish, and I asked Him for the vision. I then began thinking of my husband, who
after 18 years (my daughter is now 18) is now all of a sudden adamant about
celebrating Mother’s Day. He was
thinking of ways He could acknowledge the day, and I was quite
dumbfounded. Then I remembered that
Father uses my husband a lot as a type and shadow of Christ as my husband
speaking to me; and He is saying, “I want to celebrate Mother’s Day”. Out of that came so many references to
Mother’s Day that the Father brought upon my path.
Many years ago, I came to the Father in fasting
and prayer, and I remember going down on my knees and crying desperately for
children in the Spirit. I said to Him, “I am your wife, but I don’t have any
children to present to you.” I think of
Rachel, and she didn’t have any children to present to Jacob. The way she spoke to him about it was, “Give
me children or I die”. It then made me
think of Praying Hyde (a well-known intercessor) who prayed, “Give me souls or
I die”. Hannah also went into the temple
and cried for children. These are all
types and shadows of the Bride who wants to bare children for her Husband. In the same way, we find Isaiah 54 about the
barren woman who He told to enlarge her tent for the increase of her seed. It is very interesting that the number that
is associated with the tribe of Dan is 54.
The number 50 is the word “nun”
and it means deliverance, and the number 4 is the word “dalet”, which means
door. Makes you think of an ark, right? Isaiah
54 is about the Bride and says this in verse 1-2: “Sing, O barren, thou that
didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not
travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children
of the married wife, saith the Lord.
Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine
habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes…”. Now Priscilla and Aquila were tentmakers, and
so was Paul; they were ark builders. He
tells her in Isaiah 54 to widen her tent pegs for all the children He will
bring in. We are being sent out to go
and reap and bring forth a harvest of children.
He also tells her in Isaiah 54:17 that He will protect her when He says,
“No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper…”.
At that time when I was praying for spiritual children, the Lord
God brought a plant along my way. When I
planted it, I asked what the name of this plant was, and it was called “Mother
of Thousands”. The significance of this
name is that I was bold enough to tell Him in my prayer that I didn’t just want
a few children but I wanted thousands.
That was said by the Spirit, as He birthed this desire in me to have
spiritual children. This was some time
ago, but on the weekend of this Mother’s Day (with my husband all of a sudden
wanting to celebrate it), I received a dream.
In the dream, I got out of a car and there was a man standing next to me,
who I believe was Yeshua. I am very
pregnant, and the man told me that it was time for me to tell them that I am
pregnant, meaning it is time to travail.
Back to my plant, Mother of Thousands…
it became so big in its pot that it fell over twice, and I had to
replant it. This means that the tent
pegs had to be expanded out, because the thousands will come in.
As I was sitting on my couch thinking about travail, of how a
woman goes into travail before she delivers, I also thought of the rapture, or
the escape, that we think of this as a birth.
But before a birth, the woman must travail first, as in the sea and the
storm, and then give birth; just as a ship birth before the harbor and an ark
birth at the harbor. While I am thinking about this on my couch, Simoné sent me a message that she dreamed of me
sitting on my couch crying as I was watching an Afrikaans program called, “7de
Laan” which means 7th avenue, and seven means rest. In her dream, I am sitting on my couch, and
she cannot console me (think of travail).
In the program I am watching, there is a lady called Paula. This is a reference to Paul. Paula’s tummy is showing and it is a flat
tummy. I tell Simoné that I hope she does not mind, but my daughter would also
like to have a flat tummy like Simoné. Paul said that he travails for the church. Now why is the tummy flat? Because the birth has taken place…I am
resting at the dock, in this case, on my couch. The tummies of the virgins are flat, because
they have given birth. Noah’s ark rested
on Mount Ararat, which is a type and shadow of Mount Zion, after it has come
through the storm. And within that ark
are animals, which represent the children that the Noah Bride brings forth.
This must be our vision -- the children that will fulfill the
Abrahamic covenant that the Lord God made with him saying that his children
would be as the stars. Who are the
children? The sons and daughters of
Abram, those who walk by faith. This is
the vision, and this is what will get us going… to bring many sons and
daughters into the ark.
I cannot think of a greater privilege than to stand before Yeshua
and have thousands behind me and say to Him, “Here are your children that I
bore for you. Here are your
children… here is your inheritance. For you, the corn of wheat that fell to the
ground that I could harvest in the time to come.” Unless that vision is alive in you, you will
not make it. Unless His vision, His
dream, is your vision and your dream, you will not make it. We have to ask and cry out to Him that His
vision to have many sons and daughters brought to Him would be our vision too. The Bride consists of men and women. Men bring forth out of their loins, and women
bring forth out of their womb. Both
understand the value and treasure of children.
Now in this present time, the value of life has diminished. It has become so easy to abort a child, so
easy to kill and murder. But He values
life, so much so that He gave His own life.
May we hear His heart. We
are not sent out to display power; we are sent out to bring in sons and
daughters.
