It
very important that we know our Word to understand the types and shadows and
not be drawn away by various things. The Word of God is our plum line and we
need to stick to it. Whenever we think that we cannot be deceived we make a
grave mistake and we need to be careful, especially in this time that we are in
as deception is sky high. I am going to cover true revival versus the
counterfeit. I want to mention once again and I will probably mention it with
every devotional going forward, that the workers (the church) in this end time
is both an apostolic and a prophetic entity. Apostolic in the sense that they are sent out
with great authority and prophetic in the sense that the church is a demonstration
of the cross. Not just by how we live but also by how we lay our lives down. Whenever you saw the prophets, their whole
life became the message and so our life too is the message.
The
Word says in Ecclesiastes 1:9 that which has been will be again. We should
therefore expect these things in the Word of God as a type and shadow of that
which will happen again. The Acts outpouring will happen again but to a much greater
degree which will be discussed later. We
need to understand that John the Revelator was given the letters of the seven
churches that we will enter again. The first church is Ephesus right through to
Laodicea. We are currently in the church of Laodicea representing deception,
being lukewarm together with the chaos which is happening at the moment. When
true revival breaks out, we will once again start with the Church of Ephesus.
The letters for each the churches will then be applicable again.
Father
drew my attention to the number 77 and when I looked it up in the Strong’s
Concordance it means a city in Issachar. I looked up the meaning of the city and
this means a flash of light, to glow, to shine or gleam. I then knew it
referred to Moses when he came down the mountain glowing with the glory of the
Lord shining upon him.
Sister Donna of Servant of God channel made a video on
her channel where she was relaying a dream that she needed someone to give the
interpretation of. I will be posting that dream as she gave me permission to
do so, on my blog. This brought us together as I am now
interpreting her dreams for her. This is a gift that Father has given me; it
has nothing to do with me. Joseph told Pharaoh when he wanted the interpretations
of the dreams, “The interpretation is not of me but of God.” All the Glory
belongs to Him.
Her
reply to me with regard to the interpretation of her dream was that I am just
like her and what she meant with that was that I have an understanding of
suffering and the persecution one goes through when God uses a person to the
degree that He is using us. When Donna
said that I am just like her, it had a great purpose because she followed it
with saying that the Holy Spirit started talking to her saying the following.
“The
Holy Spirit spoke to me and said to me, “Go my little donkey of the Lord and
what a little donkey she is. For my little donkey will open her mouth and
amazing revelation knowledge will come out of her. Go now and let the world
know that God is still talking through His little donkey.”
This
was of such great significance when she said this, especially when she said I
was just like her. I have never spoken to Sister Donna before this, so we know
nothing about each other. I was reminded
of a dream Father gave me about 1 to 2 years ago. I dreamed that I was standing
in a field and I saw a donkey standing by a fence. A very attractive man
dressed in a royal blue office suit walked up to the donkey and embraced the donkey.
The donkey placed its head on his shoulder and embraced the man. They
were very loving.
Years
ago, He told me that I am a priest unto Him. The man in the royal blue
office suit represents our Great High Priest and the donkey is a burden bearer,
or a workhorse. The royal blue suit points to embracing the office of
priesthood. With this dream Father was saying to me that I am to embrace the
Office of Priest that He has given me.
I was
led to look at the meaning of Issachar. Issachar was one of Leah’s sons. Jacob
had two
wives, Leah and Rachel. In Genesis 49 Jacob speaks a blessing over Issachar.
This is what it says in one of the Bible translations:
“You
are a raw-boned donkey lying down among the sheep pens.”
In the King James Version, it
says a strong ass couching down between two burdens. The sheep pens become two
burdens and the raw-boned donkey is a strong ass couching down. He is lying down with the sheep and immediately
we have the donkey that’s the focus and the sheep that is a burden.
It says in the King James
Version in verse 15
And he saw that rest
was good, and the land that is pleasant; and bowed his shoulder to
bear, and became a
servant unto tribute.
This donkey is lying amongst
the sheep and he is a servant and he is bowing his shoulder to bear the burden.
In the Strong’s it says the following:
·
raw-boned (H1634) - strong-boned
·
couching (H7257) – to recline, lay or rest.
This
immediately points to John who reclined next to Yeshua with his head on His
chest. His heart is close to Him and He is in rest, he is in faith.
·
two burdens (H4942)– fire places or ash heap,
sheepfold.
All
three are highly significant. Fire places speak of sanctification. We are
sanctified through fire and suffering. The ash heap speaks of priesthood. The
priests received the fat of the ash heaps when the burned offerings were made.
They received the best. The burden also means sheepfold. The sheep is a burden
unto the donkey, he carries the burden on his shoulder
·
his shoulder (H7926)– the neck (between the
shoulder) as the place of burdens.
·
a servant (H5647)– to work, labor, serve (with
levitical service) worshippers, bondmen, slaves.
What
do we know about a donkey? It’s a
workhorse, a worker. His workers are His donkeys.
There
is another Issachar in the Word of God as well. He was one of the sons of Levi,
Obed-Edom. Obed-Edom was one of the doorkeepers of the temple. One of the
capable men with the strength to work according to the Strong’s Concordance.
Obed-Edom
is a type and shadow of the Holy Spirit who saved or hid a remnant God’s prophets
in caves, while Elijah was hiding from Jezebel after the Baal prophet showdown.
At that time Elijah was saying, “Get me out of here!” And God said, “No, there
are a 100 more that I have hid away who have not bowed down to Baal.”
Once
again, we get the strength, the Levitical priesthood and the fact that Issachar
represents a worker (donkey).
Moses
also spoke a blessing over Issachar, “About Zebulun” he said, “Rejoice, Zebulun,
in your going out and you, Issachar, in your tents. They will summon
people to the mountain and their offer the sacrifices of the righteous, they will
feast on the abundance of the seas, on the treasures in the sand.” (Deuteronomy
33: 18 – 19)
This
mountain they will summon the people to is Mount Zion. It is speaking of
the great harvest that the workers will bring in where those redeemed out of the
tribulation will be clothed with white before the throne waving their palm branches.
A type and shadow of this is the triumphant entry where Yeshua comes into Jerusalem
on a donkey and the people shouted, “Hosanna!”, waving palm branches.
The
triumphal entry is a type and shadow of Mount Zion where Yeshua is standing as
the lamb with the righteous before Him waving palm trees. He is riding on a
donkey. The workers are bringing in this harvest to the King (Revelation 7).
In
Hebrews 3 verse 1 we find that Moses is a type and shadow of Christ.
Specifically with regard to apostleship. The workers are the partakers of the
heavenly calling. Yeshua is the High Priest and Apostle.
Hebrews 3:1
Wherefore, holy
brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the apostle and high priest
of our profession, Christ Jesus. Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as
also Moses was faithful in all his house.
The meaning
of the word Apostle in Hebrews 3:1 is: Apostolos (G652) messenger, delegate,
one sent forth with orders with miraculous powers. The workers will be sent out
and endowed with great authority and miraculous powers. Moses is our example of
the first apostle that was sent out and we know the Lord did great miracles through
Him.
The
first encounter the Lord had with Moses was on the mount of Horeb. That is
where he met with the burning bush. When Father was talking to me about Moses,
I remembered a teaching I listened to a while ago that the burning bush was
from the Acacia tree.
Two
days after remembering that I saw my Telegram subscribers were 63. When my
numbers fluctuate, I look up the numbers. Almost 100% of the time Father has a
message for me through it.
H63
means a place in the lowlands of Moab. From the words abel and shittah.
Shittah
means acacia (a tree and a wood)
In
this case, they believe it was a shrub not a massive tree and in that time the acacia
was very dry and it was not new to see these bushes burning. What caught Moses’
attention is that this bush did not stop burning. Moses must have seen many of
these bushes burning as he tended to his flock. The difference was that this
one kept on burning. I did some research and came across the following:
From a site called biblical
hermeneutics:
“Speaking about the
burning bush, according the rabbinic understanding, “just as the bush was the
thorniest of all trees in the world, in that any bird that entered into it
could not manage to exit without tearing itself limb from limb, likewise was
the slavery of Israel in Egypt the most oppressive slavery in the world.
We know that Yeshua
wore a crown on his head and his body was torn much like any bird being caught
in the Acacia bush. The burning bush conveys the imagery of the lord’s compassion
and identification with the humiliation and suffering of his people. That
is, the lord was in the fire of the burning bush.
The lord appears in
the smaller thorn bush. The burning bush appears not only in parallel to the
conditions of the Israelites in Egypt, which is “the iron furnace”, but also as
a prison, since the thorns preclude any escape. They were slaves, imprisoned
and they were in a fiery furnace. The Lord appears in this affliction of a
fiery bush to Moses.
Please note, the Lord
did not appear to Moses in the glorious cedars of Lebanon or from other such
lofty plane. Thus, the thorn bush represents the “lowliest” in the
contradistinction to trees of glory.”
The
first place the Lord meets up with Moses was in the place of humility, the
place of furnace, fire, affliction, thorns, imprisonment and identification of
the suffering of His people. This is where Moses meets Him and this is a type
and shadow of the preparation that Yeshua does with His priests because the
burning bush is the type and shadow of the zeal and compassion and heart of God
to those who are in affliction and suffering. Moses is standing still, looking
into this bush in identification with God’s suffering for His people and
because of this identification with God’s suffering he is now as a high priest.
He is now as a type and shadow of Christ identifying with the Father’s
compassion upon His people. A Priest has the responsibility to identify both
with the people and with God. He stands as a mediator between God and man and
he is either willing to give his life or lay his life down in the way he lives.
That is the high calling of the Priests of God, the workers, to lay their lives
down for the people. Once He works out
that disposition as He did with Moses in his workers, they then get the instructions
and are appointed then to go forth to Pharaoh and say, “Let my people go.” Moses
was the first apostle to be sent.
So, we
find that Mount Horeb is the first place of meeting for the preparation of
priesthood. This account is in Exodus 3
Horeb
means desolate, stripped, lay waste and dried up. My first video that I made called, Saved to
Serve” is about the eunuchs that are dried up and cannot produce from out of
themselves. They are servants, they are
bond slaves and can no longer produce from themselves. In weakness they are
completely dependent on his strength. This is what Mount Horeb does to you and
it is a process. Mount Horeb and the
burning bush points to:
·
a furnace of affliction,
·
the pressing of the olive to produce the oil / setting
the vessel apart for His use,
·
priesthood through identification with God and
·
man chosen to go forth to set his people free.
Then in
Exodus 19 we find Mount Sinai. They are opposite each other. Just as insignificant
as the acacia bush is from the Cedars of Lebanon, so Mount Horeb is insignificant
to Mount Sinai. It’s first the humility. The bowing down of the shoulder first. To be willing to bear the burden of priesthood
by entering into the suffering through identification in your own suffering as preparation.
He prepares you before you go up to Mount Sinai where you meet Him face to
face. Both the humility of the acacia tree and Mount Horeb go before the glory
of Mount Sinai.
We
read of Moses called up to the mountain in Exodus 19. The word “Sinai” means thorny. One would think it would be called something
beautiful as glory or majesty but instead it is called “thorny”, and it’s
almost as if by the time Moses had come into the mountain, he is already in
complete identification with the suffering of the children of Israel. He is
already in that identification with the bush and that furnace. God shows him His
back, His shoulder and later on it says that Moses spoke face to face with Him
and there he received the Ten Commandments and experienced God’s Glory. This
glory was very fearful and he comes down with his face shining. This “shining” is the number 77 (gleaming,
shining, glow) with the glory of God upon him. The people wanted his face covered because
they could not handle it, they could not handle the Glory. Let us
remember that with great power and with great glory come the responsibility to
be able to uphold and maintain it. This comes through a character that has been
moulded through suffering and gone through the furnace of affliction to be able
to endure whatever will come. Therefore,
this glory is not meant for everybody, it is meant for those that have been
prepared.
First
comes the identification as a priest with man and God, and only then you are
sent out with glory and power to set the captives free. I am sure in the
mountainous area in the dessert it must have been very difficult for him to go up.
He fasted for 40 days and 40 nights without water. Living on the glory of God
so to speak. Coming down, the LORD God tells him there is a noise down in the
plane. He finds a little revival happening there. They were dancing around a
golden calf. The people decided that Moses was taking too long and they started
their own revival by making God in their own image and chose Baal. Make no mistake. What happened on Mount Sinai was the true revival.
It was a spiritual encounter. At the
same time, it was a spiritual encounter for those dancing around the golden
calf. They were worshipping. We have the
true and we have the counterfeit. We have the one person versus the multitude.
It’s very important that you see this type and shadows. Moses was enraged. He
causes them to ground the golden calf and force them to drink it with water. In essence giving them over to their lust of
the flesh. They were in euphoria as they
were dancing and it was joyous revival around this golden calf. This is
what will happen to those who do not discern the true from the counterfeit,
because they lust after experience, signs and wonders, and the sensation of the
apparent glory of God, thinking they are seeking God, when in fact they are
seeking a god in their own image that will serve them, rather them serving Him,
worshipping Him in spirit and truth. The golden calf is also a type and shadow
of the mark of the beast. When they had to eat it, they were given over to
their desires so to speak. He let them be in their deception seeing that they
wanted a god in their own image.
“I will give you over to your god and your god over to you and
you can remain in your deception because you are not willing to go up the
mountain and experience Me face to face lest I show you what is truly in your
heart.”
A very
adulterous nation that is fooled and deceived by emotions and what they feel, being
given over to it. At a later stage there was another incident where Moses comes
down and confronts the tribal elders and ask who is on the Lord’s side? Only
the tribe of Levi, pointing to priesthood again, His donkeys in Levitical
service. Only the tribe of Levi say they are on his side. He commands them to
take their swords and slay mother, father, brother, sister, everybody who
partook in the second adulterous act. They did not hesitate. That talks about
the ultimacy and totality towards God that these priests had because they
themselves have been slain. They have slain themselves; they are dried up and
have had their Mount Horeb experience and are bond slaves and servants of the Most-High
God. They did not think twice before slaying mother, father, brother and sister
with the truth of the word of God.
What is the difference between
Moses called to the upper room – “come up and be here” versus those who stayed
with the crowd? Both apparently experienced glory.
Let’s see the differences:
·
Moses was called up to come out of the camp to
separate himself. He fasted which was an act of humbling his soul. The crowd
was following the crowd.
·
Moses was taking too long and with pride in
their hearts, they were not willing to wait on God. They wanted a quick
fix. They had a “I want it now mentality.” Thinking, “Let Moses climb the
mountain if he wants to…this looks like fun!”
·
Moses was to be, that is to say be still. When he came down, he heard the noise coming
from the multitude.
·
Moses had a Mount Horeb experience of
identification. The crowd did not have identification as priests.
·
Moses was an apostle, the first sent one,
chosen. The crowd was not chosen they were not called
up because they did not have a Mount Horeb experience.
·
The multitude was drawn to that which is
sensual, quick and exciting – both were spiritual experiences. One true,
the other a counterfeit. Moses experienced the glory (the type and shadow of
the outpouring of the Spirit in Acts 2 in the upper room). The multitude
had to eat dust so to speak, given over to their desire.
Psalm 23 verse 5 gives us an
indication of the order that these things will happen.
PSALM 23
5thou preparest a table
before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head
First, we have a table, then
we have anointing and then we have the cup that runs over.
Table in the Strong’s
Concordance means:
H7979 – a meal at the kings
table, from H7971 – to send, to be sent, shoot forth.
Doesn’t
that sound like as apostle? Where is that table? I believe that table is in
Mount Horeb. There he meets with that tree; the wood and he is eating at the
same table. Where do we read about the table of the Lord? In John 6 where Yeshua says if you do not eat
my flesh and drink my blood you have no part in me. What He was saying is, “If
you are not willing to share in My suffering and eat at My table, you will have
no part in Me.” In Psalm 23 they are
eating at the King’s table where they are sent forth with Kingly authority
given. That is exactly where Moses was told, “You will go forth, you were given
authority to speak.”
In my
previous devotional, I testified of the 40 days fast that Father had me going
on. I went up to day 20 where He showed me a vision of a crow with a napkin on,
pointing to Elijah in 1 Kings 17 where the Lord God said to him, “I have
commanded the ravens to give you bread, meat and water. Father was telling me
to break my fast and then He also showed me in a vision a gift box with a satin
blue ribbon and told me that he is giving me a gift. He showed me that this gift is the oil of
gladness. Day 20 was the day that Father knew that He worked in me that which He
predetermined for the fast and the only person that would be able to stop me
from completing that fast was Him. That
is what He did, to my dismay, specifically on day 20. The number 20 is a number He kept repeating
to me in one day numerous times. I looked up G20 and it means gladness,
fatness, best, choicest, finest, feed. Remember, the priest received the
choice, the best the finest. Also, I spoke earlier about the donkey, where it means
fire, furnace and ash heap. I mentioned that the priests eat the fatness of the
ash. Once again, this oil of gladness points to priesthood. You are made into a
priest through the furnace of suffering and affliction, eating at His table,
Mount Horeb.
I
noticed that I had 275 subscribers and I decided to look up the number and saw
it didn’t mean anything significant. I then saw my phone battery was on 75% so
I looked up the number G75. G75 means to
contend for a prize and warfare. This is what the workers will do. They are running
a race to receive a crown that can never fade away and they will be doing
warfare without a doubt. H75 means to fatten and feed. Once again Father was
very particular in the numbers given by Him. We see that the oil is talking
about that fatness. The favour, the gladness, the choicest, or the best. Remember the words “the best”. The oil is directly linked to priesthood and
we know that an olive needs to be crushed to produce oil. It is directly linked to suffering and oil is
needed for a fire.
Solomon,
being a type and shadow of Christ, was given specific instructions how to
prepare the temple and right at the end, when everything was finished, he had a
huge sacrifice. One cannot think how the Priests who were responsible on the outer
courts to prepare these sacrifices were drenched in blood to prepare it. Also,
we cannot separate priesthood from sacrifice.
We are living sacrifices laying down our lives. Where there were animal
sacrifices, now we as a royal priesthood in Him are also sacrifices laying our
lives down. What happened after the sacrifices took place? Glory filled the temple
and they could not stand. We see once again that it is first the oil, first
Mount Horeb, the setting apart and being made into a priest at His table.
The
cup that is running over speaks about our mouth. The word says “out of the
abundance of our heart we speak” and that immediately takes us to Acts 2 where
we read about the tongues of fire that appeared above their heads. They began to speak and so out of their
innermost being their cups ran over. Whatever
is in the cup, your heart, the mouth will speak. They were filled with the
Spirit of God as it was poured over them and they started to speak in other
languages.
In
Psalm 45 we read about David being an amazing King and that he loves
righteousness. It talks about the clothes he is dressed in and it is such a
beautiful psalm. There is one particular verse that caught my attention. We
know that David is a type and shadow of Christ. He is here in his kingly
capacity and verse 7 says the following:
PSALM 45
7thou lovest
righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee
with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Hating
of wickedness and the loving of righteousness points to holiness. The best that
is given, the fat of the oil is given to the priests. Immediately my attention
is brought to the wedding of Cana. We find that Yeshua and His disciples were
invited to a wedding. In that time, they would give the best wine first because
as the evening or the day went, the wine would be watered down specifically
with water so that the people would not know the difference. When the wine was
finished Yeshua came and He turned the water into wine. The bridegroom
exclaimed and said, “You have chosen to leave the best wine for last!” That is
a type and shadow of the best that is given to the Levites, the best, the
finest, the choices to those who have been anointed and appointed as sent ones
to be sent forth. A type and shadow of Acts 2, of the coming revival that will
overshadow all revivals ever. We need to understand that we are now in the last
days. There will not be another revival that will take place after this one. He
has left the best for last. He has not just left the best for His priests but
He has left the best for last.
Father has brought the number
36 upon my heart and guided me to Psalm 36 and verse 8 caught my attention.
Before verse 8 it speaks about the righteous.
PSALM 36: 8
8 they shall be
abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink
of the river of thy pleasures.
Here
we have fatness and a river of pleasures. The “river of thy pleasures” points
to John 4 where Yeshua meets the Samaritan woman at the well and He tells her
that if she knew who He was she would ask Him to give her water and the water
that He will give her will well up and rivers of living water will flow out of
her. He says to her there is a time coming that the Father is seeking those who
will worship Him in Spirit and in truth. Saying that those worshipping Him in
Spirit and truth, those who come up the mountain, who not only seek an experience
but those who worship Him in truth and walk in righteousness will experience
this living water that will come. There are many people filled with the Spirit
that are speaking in tongues but the account at the well is a type and shadow
of the revival. The reason why I say that is because the Samaritan woman is a
gentile and the Jews in that time refer to the gentiles as dogs (unclean). In
the context of friends, the dog points to “man’s best friend”. This woman goes
as one being sent and she runs immediately to her town in Samaria. She tells all the people of the man she met. This well was called “Jacob’s well” and was
situated outside of the town on a hill. She goes forth as one from up the hill
(think of Mount Sinai) and she tells them of whom she met and the whole town
comes out to meet Him. She brings in the
multitude to Him and they want Him to stay and many are saved and believe He is
truly the Son of God. A clear type and
shadow of what happened in Acts 2.
Just
from these few examples we see that oil is related to priesthood and oil comes
from olives that are pressed. It talks
about suffering and that’s what priesthood precludes as it is all about setting
someone apart, just like David. As Samuel poured oil over his head to anoint
him, he was being set apart unto God. The oil in Psalm 23 comes before the wine,
which represents the outpouring of the Spirit.
Let us
look at the wine or the cup that runs over. The first mention of oil was when
Moses was told by the Lord God how to prepare it and He was very specific about
it. Moses anointed Aaron and the Levitical priests and afterwards the priests
were told to wait outside of the tabernacle for seven days. They waited long
and you can imagine the whole congregation watching. They would see these priests waiting in
silence outside of the camp. When seven days passed, the Lord came down with a
pillar of cloud into the Tabernacle and glory filled the tabernacle. Waiting
for seven days and we also find the same example of the Apostles that were told
beforehand that they had to wait until the promise of the Holy Spirit would
come and the Spirit would be poured over them. They waited 10 days and the interesting
part is they were never told they had to wait 10 days. They waited in prayer
and supplication before God, in unity amongst one another. They were in unity
as they were waiting and one can only think when they reached day 8 how long is
it still going to take? There is a process in this waiting before God where
something needed to happen just like in my fast. He needed to work something in
me up to day 20 even though I was fully prepared to go to day 40.
Father
needed to work something in me and once that was worked in me, He could talk to
me about the oil and I could stop. In the same way they were waiting and they
did not know that they were going to wait 10 days. However, something happened in them in that
time of preparation. Before we read about this account, remember that the
number 7 means rest. The donkey inclines and rests. The number 7 means faith or
rest and 10 is the number of completion, until that which needed to happen is
completed in them.
ACTS 2
1 and when the day of Pentecost
was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 and suddenly
there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all
the house where they were sitting.
3 and there
appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of
them.
4 and they were
all filled with the holy ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the spirit
gave them utterance.
5 and there were
dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 now when this
was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because
that every man heard them speak in his own language.
14 but peter,
standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, ye men of
Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken
to my words:
15 for these are
not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 but this is
that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 and it shall
come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all
flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men
shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
This “all
flesh” is not saying that the Spirit will be poured out on everybody. It means that those priests, those who have been
set apart, those who have been prepared for this glory and have come to live holy
lives, loving righteousness, the Spirit will be poured out on them and there
will be no Jew and Gentile.
Let’s go back to verse 6
6 now when this was
noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that
every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 and they were all
amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, behold, are not all these which
speak Galileans?
8 and how hear we
every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Parthians, and Medes,
and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia,
in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia,
in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews
and proselytes, (G4339 – a stranger or alien, one who has come over from a
gentile religion to Judaism)
11 Cretes and Arabians,
we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
In verse
18, Peter tells them the prophecy that Joel made. He says that the Spirit will be poured out my
servants (G1401 – slave) and on my handmaidens (G1399 – female slave /
bondmaid).
I will pour out in
those days of my spirit; and they shall prophesy:
“They”
are the servants and the handmaidens. Remember, the donkey means a servant, a handmaiden
or a slave. The donkeys, the priest, they will prophecy. Those whom I have
chosen and set apart. They that meet me up in the upper room and they that have
gone to Mount Horeb and I have called now to Mount Sinai. They will prophecy
and I will pour My Spirit over them and they will glow and shine with the glory
of God upon them. Remember, the Gentiles are included if they are set apart as
servants and handmaidens and bond slaves unto Him. We as Gentiles are the Wild
Olive that has been grafted into the natural Olive tree (Romans 11).
Let’s
read from verse 19
19 and I will
shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire,
and vapour of smoke:
20 the sun shall
be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day
of the lord come:
21 and it shall
come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the lord shall be saved.
The multitude are speaking to
the Apostles.
37 now when they heard
this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto peter and to the rest of
the apostles, men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 then peter
said unto them, repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ
for the remission of sins, and ye shall RECEIVE the gift of the Holy Ghost.
One is
received and the other is poured out. The Spirit was poured out over the
apostles in the upper room but to the multitude they received the gift of the
Holy Ghost. They received, which makes it different.
·
“Poured out” is G1632 – to gush out, run, spill
(the John 4 reference to the Samaritan woman) and the oil/cup that runneth over.
·
“Receive” is G2983 – to take, lay hold of, to
claim, give access, gain or obtain.
We see
a clear difference of what will happen and unfortunately there is this false
idea that is spoken by the wolves saying that there will be great revival that
will take place all over the world and that people will be endowed with great
power. This is not true. Yes, there will be power and miracles but that will be
on those that are sent forth. Those He
has set apart, His donkeys, according to scripture.
We read something interesting
in verse 43. It points again to Moses and the Glory that was seen on him.
43 and fear
came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the
APOSTLES.
Immediately as they went out
they started doing miracles and wonders.
Great
fear was upon the whole of Jerusalem, particularly with Ananias and Sapphira
where they died because they lied to the Holy Spirit and the Word says that
great fear fell on Jerusalem because of the power that was on these apostles. The
same type and shadow we find when Moses came down the mountain and the
multitude were fearful.
Can
you see how he has left the best for last and what will happen in this time with
the true revival that will take place? Great fear when God works through His people,
His donkeys to bring in great harvest. Psalm
23 tells us first the anointing, the setting apart as priests unto him, then
the cup that runs over. In Acts 1 we get
further confirmation of this setting apart that distinguish them from the
multitude.
ACTS 1
8 but ye shall
receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses
unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the
uttermost part of the earth.
This
is not said to the multitude. Yes, they become witnesses and they do go out and
minister to people, they experience great things and the Lord’s love and many
people are brought in because of the great work, but the authority and the
power is given to the apostles. The apostles are told they will be witnesses
unto Him, both in Jerusalem and all Judea and in Samaria and the uttermost part
of the earth.
The word
“witnesses” is G3144 (martoos) meaning martyr – those who after His example
have proved the strength (strong boned donkey) and genuiness of their faith in
Christ by undergoing a violent death.
The apostles
knew beforehand that there had to be 12 to fulfil prophecy. They prayed unto the Lord and knew there had
to be one more, because Judas fell away.
24 and they
prayed, and said, thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether
of these two thou hast CHOSEN,
“Chosen”
– G1586, meaning to pick out; choose out for one’s self, choosing one for an
office, judging one fit to receive his favours and separated from the rest of
mankind to be peculiarly His own and to be attended continually by his gracious
oversight, to select.
The
other day I Woke up at 5:36 – Strong’s 536 is first fruits, the beginning of a
sacrifice, (the outpouring of the Spirit will be the beginning of the
tribulation that will start after the outpouring). Many people were saved and
then persecution happened. They are the first fruits, the beginning of a
sacrifice, the earliest crop of the year. The apostles are the first fruits of the Lord
God and the multitude is the great harvest. It comes from the word arché – H746
meaning rule, kingly or magisterial, rulers, magistrates and beginning. They
sit at the Kings table in Psalm 23 given kingly authority. They are giving magisterial
authority to rule and reign. This is what we also understand during the
millennial reign where they will receive a kingdom. They will receive cities to
rule and reign, being the priests who take their crowns and lay it before His
feet at the end when He comes. This is their
reward or their inheritance. If you look at Joshua at the end of the Book of
Joshua, they received an inheritance or land that is a type and shadow this
reward. We read about that particular reward in Luke 22.
They receive
cities to rule over as their reward during the millennial reign. (Luke 22: 24 –
30)
I had
a dream 4 years ago. It was a short dream. I dreamed I was in a canteen
somewhere and there was not a lot of people there. I had tray and I wanted to get up to put the
tray at the counter and a man came to me, probably in his 20’s, and said out of
the blue “you will rule and reign over and called a city’s name. Another guy
came up to me and said “you will rule and reign over and he called another
city’s name. The Lord God has already told me two cities that He said I will
rule and reign over. I’m not saying this
to boast. I’m saying this so that you
understand this is a reality because we read these things but don’t understand
how serious it is. What he has prepared
us for. He needs to trust us with the authority and power that He will give us.
I recently
saw somebody that made a video about the Asbury revival that is taking place at
the moment. They were showing how they didn’t agree with it and it was quite telling
what they were saying. There was no denying what they were saying. I was very
sad after that.
The
prophetic call upon my life He told me is not so much to talk about things that
will happen in the future, even though He does show me things that will happen
in the future and He does give me warning dreams; however, He told me
specifically that the call upon my heart is to reveal His heart. That is why in revealing His heart He is
preparing His workers. It is fine if we know what will happen in the future,
but we need the character that will sustain us and help us through it. The very first words He spoke to me was when I
was 16 years old, He said “You will seek Me with your whole heart and you will
find My love. You will paint the colours of my love’. What He meant was that He
will cause me to express the different colours of His love not only through
painting, but also express it through writing. It is a great honor and Father
receives all the honor and glory. This was clearly a process of sanctification
that He brought me into.
I
started feeling really sad the whole day and couldn’t understand why I was so
sad. I thought maybe it is about the people coming against me. I
started praying for people and just forgiving them again. I remained sad and I
started crying deeply. I realized this is not my tears and not my sadness. I was
sensing Father’s sadness and it was very deep.
He was sharing His heart with me. I said to Him, “Lord, what are You sad
about? Why are you crying?” He said to
me “They seek revival and not Me” This points to the multitude that had the
golden calf and wanted their revival and they did not want to seek Him on the
mountain. They were not willing to go through the process of Mount Horeb where
He could call them to that mountain. They wanted the quick fix, that which is
sensual and great that which is amazing.
I am adding a disclaimer.
Disclaimer: -
There
are undoubtedly sincere people and I am not against these earnest seekers of
the Lord. He, in His grace, rewards those who diligently seek Him. I do
however, believe this revival has been stopped in the meantime. Father touches
those who are sincere but His heart is saddened by those who flocked to it because
of the experience they wanted. We need to understand that Father knows our
hearts and that the enemy knows how to take our sincere motives to want to be close
to Yeshua and use it as bait to take our eyes actually off Him whilst we are thinking
our eyes are on Him. We equate seeking
revival as seeking Him. But it is not
the same thing. I am not judging anyone as only Father is the judge. However,
we are to go before Him and say, “Lord search my heart.”
Acts 2
is a type and shadow on whom the Spirit will be poured out on…those
chosen. Not massive amounts of people, but specific workers, the friends
of God, the Johns whom He trusts to endure and be faithful to the end. They will receive the outpouring. What is
seen in Asbury is not the revival which is to come, not according to the type
and shadow of Acts 2, referring to the outpouring versus the receiving of the Spirit.
They are priests and priests are chosen because they were set apart during a
process of sanctification What you see in Asbury University is a visitation of
the spirit to move upon people to repent. What will happen with the
outpouring of the Spirit on that 10% that will wait in the upper room, is what
scripture says, Tthese are they that turned the world upside down and the
multitude will fear them.” They will be equipped to go out to the
multitude.
We are
called not to follow the sheep, but the shepherd. God is doing amazing things
and the people, the sheep, are running after one another. The Lord said
to me when you see the multitude running in one direction, know that is not
where you ought to go.
We are
not called to follow the sheep. We are
called to follow the Shepherd. Please
read sister Donna’s dream and the interpretation Father gave me whilst taking
this devotional and understanding into consideration on my blog called, “SISTER
DONNA’S DREAM – FALSE SIGNS AND WONDERS
This is the Word I received
from Father that I want to end this devotional with. It’s called “Come up.” I received this word quite a while back.
Come up
Yes, I am calling you up to Me and yet nobody can stand before Me
and live. Therefore, I need all of you. Rightfully the
psalmist asks, “Who can ascend into the hill of the Lord and who can stand in His
holy place?” Only those who have clean hands, a pure heart, who have
not lifted up their souls to vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
This is not a play on words, My child. This is for
you to know that before you meet me as I am in My holy hill, you cannot stand
before Me as you are. Know that I am about to prepare you to meet
with Me. Know that I do in fact require more of you as those who
have much, much is required. Therefore, prepare your heart, your
mind to meet with Me in My holy sanctuary, for here no flesh can
abide.
Consecrate all of you. You are not to speak your own
thing, or walk in your own ways, nor defile my Sabbath, the rest I have given
you through faith. But you are to hear what I hear, speak what I
speak and see what I see. Therefore, a new consecration that
requires you to come out of the camp for you to go up.
Unless you come out, you cannot go up.
More is required, not only that you may meet with Me and live,
but that I may send you into the camp as one whose face shines with the glory
of God. They will see and fear. They will hear and be
humbled and know that a prophet has been among them. But just like
Moses, they will not hearken to the voice of my speaking, but will harden their
hearts, for their hearts are still divided.
Therefore, I need all of your heart. An undivided
heart. Give Me your heart and let your eyes observe My ways. Only
then can I send. Only then can you speak as My oracle, as one sent
by Me. Therefore, be zealous to consecrate all of you for the time
is short and soon the world and My unbelieving children will behold Me in those
vessels I have prepared. Not just the infilling, but the vessel
itself. Many will come to Me, but much more will ridicule and scoff at
My chosen ones. For they do not know Me.
Know that those will be from your own household, but also out of
the household called church. Brother will turn against brother and
sister against sister for their hearts are envious and they desire the great things
of God out of the lust of the eyes and pride of life. But I search
all hearts and know the intents of their heart to lavish all I give and spend
it on their own gain that they may receive the honor. But I will not
share My glory and honor. And they will be given over unto a
reprobate mind as they serve their own understanding, calling it wisdom,
calling it revelation. But they have not heard from Me, but have
eaten from that tree which I have forbidden them from the
beginning. They have leaned on their own understanding and have gone
their own way, forsaking the way that leads to everlasting life and
peace. Therefore, they will reap what they have sown. They will reap
thistles and thorns and shall find themselves amongst scorpions and every creeping
thing, even as you will. As I send you to stand in the midst of them
to speak My word that will burn as a fire.
Therefore, do not fear their looks or words, but know that when
I send you, I go with you, standing in the midst of a crooked and wicked
generation, just like John, my faithful servant called out of the camp to say,
“Repent! Repent!” And just like then, the pharisees will come out of their dark
meeting places into the light and be exposed as the vipers they are…poisonous
asps sent by that wicked one. But fear not, I am with you, just like
I was with Moses. No man shall be able to stand before
you. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. This is
the heritage I have given you.
Therefore, be brave and courageous. Set your face as
a flint, do not look to the left or the right, but come up and be here.
Amen.
How
many are truly faithful to their upper room and seek Him equally more fervently
there? Can you see how the enemy keeps us busy with the things of God and
veils it as earnestly seeking him?
There
is an invitation going out, “Come up and be here. Separate yourself from
the crowd and seek me.” This will save us from the last day’s deception
where we worship Him in spirit and truth in our own personal upper room.
The
warning has been sounded…the watchman has spoken. I pray that you have
heard the warning of counterfeit revivals that will break out where the sheep
will go in all directions following one another as they have always done. If
you are a worker, separate yourself from the camp and seek His face. He will
empower you and touch you as you diligently seek Him.
The Word
says without faith it is impossible to please Him and He is a rewarder of those
seeking Him earnestly.
