I received two interesting dreams, one on the 12th October 2021 and the other just recently on the 22nd
January 2022. They are both connected
and also what motivated the writing of this devotional. Both dreams are about two very different armies, and both sang a song. The first dream was a very vivid dream and
also a very disturbing one at that. This
dream has a dual meaning. One for me
personally and the other for the Bride. And
the second dream holds hands with the first dream.
This is the first dream…
I was
looking for my red tablet in the dream.
In reality I have a black tablet, but in the dream I was adamant in
wanting my red tablet. Eventually I found
it. The moment I opened it, I was
transported into the “video that was playing.
I was looking down a street and saw a commotion at a distance. I soon realized that this was cattle coming
down the road. At a distance I could
still make out their horns and I soon realized that this was a stampede. They were jumping over each other as they
were storming ahead. All of a sudden
they changed. No longer beasts of a
natural kind, but beasts of a spiritual kind.
To my horror they were demonic entities, very tall, dressed in spiritual
armor. The hordes of hell. Their faces were covered with
helmets that had horns on, their armor was dark steel or iron and they had axes and very grotesque weapons of
destruction. The sense of evil permuating the atmosphere as well as a murderous intent. They looked fierce and
trust me, very intimidating. As they
started to pass me a great fear came over me just beholding these entities. They were huge. I could hear them humming a song as they
passed. This was the interesting
thing. Although they were so chaotic,
they hummed the song in unison with these low demonic voices. I later discovered that the song is called ‘I
want to paint it black” by the Rolling Stones.
This is what these hordes of hell looked like.
The red
tablet in this dream resembles a door.
Or a porthole. The ability to
move from one dimension to another or see, in this case, from one dimension into
another. Here are some of the lyrics of
I want to paint it black by the Rolling Stones that caught my attention.
I WANT TO PAINT IT BLACK
I look inside myself
And see my heart is black
I see my red door
I must have it painted black
Maybe then, I'll fade away
And not have to face the facts
It's not easy facing up
When your whole world is black
The context of this song is that of depression and living in darkness. The red door speaks of a door of hope that he wants to paint black, so as to not allow any hope or life in his life. The red door is represented in my dream by the red tablet. There is different meanings behind painting a door of a house red, mostly that of welcoming someone, but the most obvious is that of when the Israelites had to paint the blood of the lamb on the door frame. So this specifically was that the angel of death could not find entrance into the home and kill the firstborn. Who does the firstborn represent?
In the Old Testament, the firstborn
son was the one who normally received a double inheritance, and was the one who
would inherit his father’s role as head of the family. God sometimes reversed
this order, as he did with Jacob and Esau (Genesis 25:21-26), and as Jacob later did with Ephraim and
Manasseh (Genesis 48:13-22).
Reuben was the firstborn of Jacob, but his rights as the firstborn were taken
away because of his sin (Genesis
35:22; 49:3-4).
The term firstborn has two
main meanings. The first is more literal, referring to the fact that this son
is the first son to be born of his father. The second meaning refers to the
rights and authority of a person, because they are the firstborn. Our Lord is
the “firstborn” in several ways. He is the One who has been appointed by God to
be in authority over all things (Colossians
1:13-23; especially verses 15, 18).
In each case, the firstborn blessing
was given to those to whom it was not owed and to those who were undeserving to
receive it:
- Ishmael was rejected, and Isaac received the blessing.
- Esau was rejected, and Jacob received the blessing.
- Reuben was rejected, and Joseph received the blessing.
- Manasseh was rejected, and Ephraim received the blessing.
Why was this pattern repeated
generation after generation? It was to show us that God’s blessing comes by
grace and not by merit. God the Father had a firstborn Son—Yeshua. He went to
the cross for our sin and was rejected on the cross. As the word says, the
first shall be last and the last, first.
He cried out “My God! My God! Why
have you forsaken me?” As the firstborn He was forsaken so that we could
receive the blessing from the Father, which is that of favor and authority and because He was willing to lay down His life, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord.
This was so that the blessing
would come upon the younger—you and me—who did not earn it or deserve it! (www.charisbiblecollege.org)
We are
not only protected by the blood of the Lamb, but we are bought with the blood
of the lamb, the firstborn of the Lord God, His only begotten Son. He chose us.
1 Peter
1: 18 - 19
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye
were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain
conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood
of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
So the
Red Door is a door of hope. It is a
reference to life. And the song of the
Rolling Stones wanting to paint it black, is that of not wanting anymore hope,
but death and darkness. Why did the Lord
God choose that song for this dream? I
believe it was to say that the hordes of hell have one mission, to come after
the firstborn of God and paint the door black, to remove any hope, any life and
any idea of protection for the children of God. Specifically in the season we are in. This was also the very last thing that happened before the Israelites
left Egypt to flee into the desert. The
Rolling Stones are a reference to those builders who rejected the Chief Corner
stone and rolled away that want to come after His called out ones. In essence
rolling stones are fast moving and destructive that pretty much destroy and erode. Exactly like my dream.
The red door of hope is also a reference to our blessed hope.
Titus 2:
13
13 Looking for that blessed
hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
This blessed hope is our departure out of this world. The door of the
ark that is still open to this day for all to enter through. It is said that the ark’s door was on the
side of the ark, very much like the spear that entered Yeshua’s side, our Ark. He is the way, the DOOR, through which we
enter by the blood. Indeed our blessed
hope. There is no other way, but through
the blood. And so our hearts resemble a
door, where Yeshua is saying, I stand at the door and knock. If any man will open up, I will come in and
eat with him. Where the door is covered
in blood, LIFE will enter and dine with us.
This is said in one of the 7 letters spoken to the Church of Laodicea,
representing the Church’s condition of this age, being lukewarm in their love
for Him. This not only a reference to
the prosperity that the Church of Laodicea was in, which resulted in not
needing to cling to the Lord God, but the lukewarmness of the present Church
finding themselves hot fighting for the rights of humankind, but not
necessarily hot for fighting for human souls, resulting in fervor for one, but
indifference to the other…lukewarm. And
yet they would argue the one is the other.
The Church of today completely disinterested in Yeshua and the fact that
He is standing at the door and knocking both for the lost souls and for His
Bride to indeed open the door to hear what He has to say. To paint their door red. What grace!
Pleading with the lukewarm church to let Him in so that He can have
communion with them. Grace that the Church in
this age may enter through Him, the door of hope into the Ark and be saved from
the coming wrath to come. Soon the door
of hope will be painted black for many as gross darkness is going to ascend
upon this earth.
The entrance into the ark, through the
“red door” of hope at His side, is preserved for the Bride. The same place
where Eve was taken from Adam’s side, his rib. This place is reserved for those who walk intimately with Him, in communion,
daily sitting at His table and feasting with Him. He has not stopped knocking. In fact His knocking has become more intense
through the prophets, but just like Noah who pleaded with the people to enter
BEFORE the rain comes and was ignored, so our Noah is being ignored even though
it is right now as Yeshua said…
Luke 12: 56
56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern
the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this
time?
Just like as the days of Noah the prospect of such destruction was so unreal to the people and they were so caught up in their world, they CHOSE not to believe him. It is estimated that it took between 20 - 40 years for Noah to build the ark. I find the estimation interesting. The 40 resembling the 4 000 years before Christ and the 20 the 2000 years after Christ... Exactly where we are at. Indeed the days now are as the days of Noah. The eminency of the time is lost amongst the cry of its eminency just as Noah for 20 - 40 years were telling all that the end of the world is coming. We have been hearing it is the end of the world for so long it no longer causes our heart to skip a beat. We have heard it over and over to the point where we are sufficiently dull to the urgency. One prophecy is like the other, all doom and gloom. What’s new?
There are those who cannot
wait for the Ark to take us out of here. I wonder if Noah's family were amongst those who were just too glad to leave? Really not caring if others did not come along. We do not read of them evangelizing the lost. There are very few true Noah's out there, just like then. Who wants to stay right? We are
excited and yearn to be with our Bridegroom.
But we forget that the Bride is very much in sync with the desires of
her Bridegroom and longs to fulfil those desires as His Body. Bone of His bone and flesh of His flesh. Yes, she wants to be with Him, but more than
anything she wants to fulfil His desires.
So she is not looking to herself and what she wants now. She is looking to Him. Many are living in
very harsh circumstances and understandably want to get out of here, but others
are just seeing the proverbial kitchen of this world heating up, and wants out of the kitchen. There is no desire to seek His
will for the time we are in. They just want
to get out. They hang on to every
possible prophecy like it is there only hope.
I am not judging…been there and done that. But the point is to show that our love for Him
is not expressed only by our desire to be with Him, but to do His will. “If you love Me you will do My commandments”. It does not mean that He will not take those
who are His Bride who does not have this disposition, but it still needs to be
addressed. It is to our shame that we
seek more to be out of here than to fulfil His will.
Just like the time of Noah, the
urgency and the level of destruction is lost to many as seen by our apathy and
indifference to the lost. Makes me think
of the Titanic that had only so many lifeboats and that it only mattered who
could get on and too bad for those who could not make it.
Next dream:
This was a dream in which I saw the
opposite. I saw the army of the Lord
marching two by two in the opposite direction.
In fact where the previous dream was all about chaos, this army was
perfectly united and in sync. Every step
taken in unison. Not just in their walk,
but I had a keen sense of a bond of unity amongst them, together with a sense
of authority. They were all dressed in
their spiritual armor, that which Paul used citing the armor of the Roman
centurions. Their armor was very shiny
and spoke of excellence and focus. Each
one had a very long lance in their hand as they marched. At one stage the two lines were separated,
but just as easily came together, signifying that nothing will be able to break
the bond of peace and love between these brothers. As soldiers they were brothers. They too sang a song with the most beautiful baritone
voices, which caught me quite off guard, not making sense at first concerning the melody. The lyrics were: "The army of the Lord is marching two by two, the army of the Lord is marching two by two", and then I could
not hear the other words, but it ended with “and they all went marching, over
all the earth.” And what was the melody?
That of the “The animals went in two by two, Hooray, hooray!” the well-known
Sunday school song we sang as children about the ark. At first I could not for the life of me
understand why Father chose the melody of this particular song to go with such
strong lyrics about the Army of the Lord.
But when He led to me to compare this dream with the one about the Hordes
of Hell, I knew that He was saying to me that at the time of our departure having entered the Ark, the Hordes of Hell together with the Army of the Lord will be
released. This is seen in the account of
Noah when the Ark rested on the mount, and he released a raven, a bird of prey
who hunts, representing the anti-Christ as well as darkness, and a dove, representing the Holy Spirit, purity and peace. Two very opposing spirits that will operate
here on this earth. The dove later
returned and was taken into the ark, but the raven stayed until the water
abated. There is a lot more to this, but
to stay on track, the point is that Father is showing that the releasing of His
workers, His army will be at the same time as the Hordes of Hell to be
released. The reason why He showed me
the extent of what they looked like, is to show that in the spirit this will be
the reality. Our warfare is not against
flesh and blood and it will be a time like no other.
The lances caught my attention and I wanted to know why Father chose to show me the lances. His words to me are that lances are thrown far, saying that the effect of these soldiers will be far reaching, in fact, all over the world. So what makes these dreams so special that a whole devotional needs to be written about it? Nothing. The real issue is expressing the burden of the Lord. This is my aim and purpose. For the last few weeks Father has caused numerous testimonies of people going to hell and coming back to give their testimonies come my way. Not just with videos, but conversations that came my way as well. As is usually with something like this, one cannot help but think of the fate of those who are lost and lukewarm. Father impressed it upon my heart that the Church is presently so focused on this world, focused on getting out of here, that they forget that with the blessed hope, our Red Door, the door will indeed be painted very black for those left behind once it's shut. Many have dreamed about tsunamis that are coming all over the world, particularly the USA. We are hearing the war drums of the nations beating louder and louder. The Word says that it will be a time as there has never been before. Just imagine the horrors of Bosnia, Auschwitz, the Holocaust in total, all wars ever fought, massacres in the course of all history, combine them and release them at once, and it will still not compare. This is what is waiting for those who are lukewarm and are lost. Our minds will not be able to begin to fathom the horror. And yet, in one instance of some weapon of destruction or natural disasters, the “kick off” event that will happen, many lives will be instantly standing before a door. I have found that there is a sense of excitement amongst the Bride when we see the signs of these things happening all around us, because after all, it means our redemption is drawing nigh and we are to look up, right? And so we do. But I cannot help but wonder how much of our excitement is out of sync with the burden of the Lord. How much of this excitement is solely about us, and not at all considering the tremendous horror to take place and how He feels about it? Almost like they have it coming to them, just as long we are out of here. When the so called “kick off” event happens, innumerable amount of people will in one instance stand before a very black door, called the gates of hell. There to enter forever and never get another chance ever. Whatever calamity caused them to be there, will not compare to what they will have to endure for eternity. THIS IS THE BURDEN OF THE LORD. And how can this not be our burden? How is it that we have not heard the trumpet call of sending forth our lances all over this world by the means He now shows us. How is it that we ourselves are not bent over in our spirit with the burden of the Lord? How is it that we do not even give it a thought or when we do, we are not sufficiently moved to seek His face? Each not to do their own thing, but to say Lord, "In this hour, what is your burden and what do you want me to do? Send me Lord, I will go." Not to do our own thing, but waiting on Him to show us and then do it. Because many lives are dependent on this. We are talking about eternal consequences. All excuses fall to the ground in the face of what is to come. You may be thinking, “But I do not have the means to go out and evangelize.” Or, I have so many responsibilities that requires my attention.” Or, “I do not think I am qualified.” Whatever your reasoning, it falls flat in the face that He told us that He is able to do super abundantly above all we could ask or think by the power that works in us. It is not about what you can do, but rather about what He wants to do through you. You just have to be available and do what He asks of you. You are not to do your own thing. You are to wait as a soldier of His army and follow His instructions. He needs your submission and obedience. A listening ear and a ready heart. He wants to use you.
His heart is crying out for those who will
stay behind and so should ours. This
cannot be just a one-time thing. This is
what the Bride is supposed to be busy with…His burden. If you are spending countless hours on
YouTube looking for the next prophecy and the latest news in comparison to
praying for your loved ones or doing what He has asked you to do, you need to
re-evaluate your priorities. We can all
pray and are called to pray. Setting a
time aside every day to do just that is the least we can do for Him and for
those whom He wants to save. Every
revival was first birthed within the closet by people earnestly seeking Him to
save. Are we still seeking Him earnestly
to save the lost? At the same time we
are to spend more time than ever in intimacy with Him, searching our hearts and
allowing Him to show us those things that still need to be dealt with, whilst
there is still time. If ever there was a
time for the Bride to focus it is now. At the night of His betrayel, He was bent over in agony for the prospect of God's wrath and presence to leave Him the moment He took our sin upon Him. Three times He went over to His disciples finding them asleep, this after He told them to watch and pray. Is the Bride still sleeping in the context of prayer? He upbraided them for their prayerlessness. This was no small thing to Him.
I believe that Father is presently sending out a call to His Bride to intercede. Intercession is a lot more than just prayer, but I have this sense in my spirit that the call from the watchman at this time for the Church should be to pray like never before for a time like never before. About a week ago I was praying for someone in particular and while I was praying I saw a spear entering into someone's side. I did not understand what I was seeing. Little did I know that Father was showing me something related to a devotional.
Many scholars agree that the Roman
soldier had all together 7 pieces of weaponry in his suit of armor, and that
Paul stopped short of the 7th, being the lance. What they did not understand is that this
lance is represented in the following verse where Paul tells us to pray and use supplication. Paul tells us to put on the whole armor of God. This would include the lance. We can call this the lance of prayer and
supplication that he mentions just after putting on the shoes of peace. The purpose of the lance
is to reach far ahead of you into the camp of the enemy, stopping them from
advancing in the spirit, through prayer.
The same is true considering the far reaching power of prayer to reach
the very throne room of God to which we are exhorted to come to.
Hebrews 4: 16
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we
may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Paul wrote this
in a time where he was jailed in a Roman prison, seeing the Roman soldiers day
in and day out. Two lances were mostly
used, a short and a long one, although there were many more. The short one was for close contact, and the
other for fighting the enemy from a distance.
The Roman lance was said to be about 6 feet long and would strike their
foes to the ground before they were able to penetrate the encampment of the
Romans.
The point is that
Father showed me this mighty army of God having lances so that I could understand
that for this season, prayer is extremely vital. We are not fighting a visible enemy, but an
invisible enemy. The call is not for shotgun prayers, but a commitment that reaches far to those
He places on our hearts. The separate vision of the spear or lance was for me to understand that the side of the Bride has to be pierced as His Body to enter into His burden. She too has to be pierced in her heart to once again take up the lance of prayer and supplication. For the mothers
that used to spend hours praying on their knees for their children taking their place again. For the fathers to cry out
to the Lord God for their sons and daughters.
For sister and brother to pray and fast together to seek His face anew for
SALVATION. To cry with His heart and
allow the Spirit to pray through us until we see the salvation made
manifest. He is seeking those who will
cry out for the lost and carry His burden with Him. For those who will come only during the
tribulation to Him, because of the seed that was sown in prayer by other loved
ones. The seed then producing a harvest of souls all over this
world. The lances are to be sent out
now. They are to be thrown and pierce
the side of the Lord God, right into His heart, our prayers and supplication moving Him in compassion. That He may be moved by our supplication as He was when Moses and Abraham interceded. We are to move the Lord God by the Spirit and
cry out for the lost. Taking hold of the altar of God in Yeshua and not relent until He answers. Laying our lives down for the lost. And then we need to send the lance of prayer
and supplication into the spirit world and pierce the heart of the enemy. We are to render those hordes of hell into
greater confusion to turn on themselves. The angels of the Lord being sent forth by the Captain of the
Hosts before whom we stand as we intercede in His presence as His Priests. For Him to say to us, "Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God's We are to
know that the fiercest battle for souls is now at the red door of our own
hearts.
Ephesians 6: 18
Praying always
with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all
perseverance and supplication for all saints.
This prayer and
supplication means to worship, pray and to make supplication through
petition. It denotes begging, to bind
yourself, asking humbly and earnestly.
In other words, you are clinging to Him to answer you in desperateness and dependence.

It's time to dust off our armor and shine! I am reminded of the White Horse rider who has a bow with no arrows and yet in the Strong's Concordance it relates it to arrows. Father also gave me a word for 2022 in which one word is given to His Fiery Ones, who are His arrows. The arrows or lances of intercession is to go forth when the Captain of the Hosts commands. Those who have sensed a prompting in the Spirit to have prayer groups, maybe on zoom, wait on Him and do it in His time. Those who have slacked in prayer, gird up your loins, which means to adjust your disposition, and commit to a time and do it, no matter what. He could do miracles through just two fishes. Great miracles through 2 holy men, Moses and Aaron, the two witnesses to come, the two on the road of Emmaus and those He will send out two by two. Where two or more are gathered, there He is in the midst of them. In the words of Mary to the disciples, "Whatever He tells you to do, do it."
I end this devotional with a word Father gave me in September 2020.
MERCY SEAT
As the light, so
the darkness, ever increasing. Shall
those who are the light not mourn those who are in the dark? Shall those who were once darkness not bring
to remembrance the mercy extended, not deserved? Will you not draw near to Me in a time that I
may still be found? Abraham pleaded with
Me for Sodom and Gomorrah. Yet My Church
do not mourn for those who will see My wrath.
As they have tasted Me and found Me to be good, the unjust, the
rebellious and wicked will taste My wrath.
Is this the
Priesthood I have called that feasts at My table and bathe in the light of My
glory, but do not enter to stay at My mercy seat provided and cry out to Me for
those who are left outside? For it is My
day, My great and terrible day. Yet My
Bride, My Priests do not see. Having
eyes they do not see. Having ears, they
do not hear what the Spirit is saying.
The Spirit is saying, “Seek Me whilst I may still be found. I stand at the door and knock.” Do not be rebellious. Do not go in for your own sake only, but cry
out to Me My children. Cry out to Me
while I am still to be found. For where
would you have been if it was not for your High Priest?
As the priests,
so the people. Will you go in and cry
for the lost and the broken? Will you
come into where I have made a way, not only for your salvation, but for you as
the Priests of God to cry out for the lost?
Do you not see the hour? I have
set My own clock. Indeed the world has
hers, but I am the Alpha and the Omega.
I determine the times and seasons.
Will you not recognize the hour and the season? Therefore, cry aloud My Priests! Cry aloud, for the veil has been torn and I
desire you to draw near in My Son.
He ever
intercedes, should you not?
Come My children, seek My face, draw near to Me with a humble and contrite heart, for who knows whether I will not indeed show mercy to those who do not deserve it, as I have shown you.
Draw near to the mercy seat.
